Stayed Feb 20, 2025We had a great time at the property, but there were a few challenges. The biggest concern was accessing the main bedroom, which requires climbing a steep ladder that felt unsafe. Aside from that, communication was excellent, and the property was very clean.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025First of all the communication with the Owner (Jane) was excellent. Love that the day before she texted me to ensure I was all set; but also included some great information as to the cottage/loft, but also recommendations as to restaurants, etc. The cottage/loft is exactly as pictures. Yes there are stairs to the loft, but this is listed in the description, but also photos. The kitchen was well stocked, loved the Ninja. From the bed linens to the bath towels provided, it was top notch. The area is very peaceful and quiet. Cannot forget seeing two baby deers and bunny each morning. The river is calm and perfect to sit by each morning to have a cup of coffee or tea. The owners provided a row boat, kayaks and canoe to use, if needed. Or you can simply sit on the desk to get some run and relax. If are looking for a place to unwind for a long weekend or week -- highly recommend this Cottage/Loft.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024I only have wonderful things to say about my family’s stay. We have stayed here twice once just my husband and I and once with our son and it was wonderful for different reasons both times. It’s a great mix of being a calm, peaceful retreat nestled in nature, while still being close enough to great food and great vintage, local and antique shopping to get in some activity. The nearby hikes are lovely and this location being right on the creek is idyllic. The space itself is clean and new— comfortable upstairs loft bed and huge windows to enjoy the outdoor landscape. The property itself has plenty of room to play as a family or to entertain ourselves with some BBQ and a kayak ride. Responsive and kind hosts. Highly recommend!
