Stayed Aug 9, 2024La Massaria is a beautiful place, but we had a few issues suggesting the place is a bit 'style over substance'. The apartment is advertised as 'air con' (important with two kids and 35C heat), but there is only one air con unit in one of the 3 bedrooms only. We had to ask for additional fans. The place advertises itself as a tranquil 'oasis'. Unfortunately, the walls between the two bedrooms upstairs where our kids slept and the unit next door are very thin and the bedroom downstairs where we sleep is underneath a room in the apartment next door and seperated only by a wooden ceiling/floor. As a result, there was a lot of noise from the next door apartment at night. Tranquil it was not. Basic kitchen items were not present (like bowels, a chopping knife or a wooden spoon). When we asked, the host provided these. There was no communication from the host about what to do when we arrived or what to do when leaving. In addition, there is a washing machine, but it is shared and was not working and the wifi was intermittent. For the money we paid, I expected better attention to basic details.
