Roma, Lazio
A quiet and green space all around, a home furnished with taste and every comfort in northern area of Rome. Come and stay as a roman citizen.
My house is just a few bus stops (line 990) from the Metro, the Roma-Viterbo train station, San Pietro in the Vatican and the historic center in general. It is located in a quiet and residential neighborhood of the northern part of the city, a few meters from Loyola University Chicago Rome. It can accommodate up to 4 people with all the comforts, for a relaxing and stylish vacation.
For every need, a few steps from the house (Piazza Madonna del Cenacolo) there is a household store, a butcher's shop, a minimarket, a greengrocer, a tobacconist, a newspaper kiosk, a hairdresser and a dry cleaner's, as well as two Cafe. In Piazza della Balduina, instead, at about 500 meters, there are two supermarkets, a store for clothing and household items, boutiques, bars, bakeries, pharmacies and ATMs, a covered food market (adjacent to Piazza Mazzaresi).
I wait for you!
Very comfortable. Host is very accommodating & responsive. Walking distance to John Felice Rome Center. Will visit again!
Daniela is a very kind and super supporting host! Whenever we had a question, she just came up with the answers. The apartment is a little bit out of the center - but easily to reach with the bus in about 20 min. For us it was perfect - because Rome is so full of tourists, crowded and loud, so we‘ve enjoyed the silent and green surrounding every morning and evening. The apartment is very beautiful with 3 balconies , 2 bathrooms and everything a family needs. A Supermarkt and cafes are near by - just the restaurants are honestly more located in the city. But honestly - comparing this to wake up in an apartment-complex, where there is silence and a big garden around and you can start the day totally relaxed, is worth everything! Even in October you can have breakfast on the balcony or the last drink of the day. We had a fantastic stay in Daniela’s apartment and would love to come back again and just can recommend it!
This is a very good apartment for 4 people. It has three balconies, two toilets and a living room with kitchen. A wonderful owner of the apartment, whom we loved!
The host Daniela was very nice. We arrived after 10 pm because of problems with the luggage but she was still waiting for us; and she surprised us with a wonderful cake. We had everything we needed (and more) in the apartment. It is ideal if you want to have some peace and quiet in the evening. After the day in the hustle and bustle of the city, we really enjoyed it. Bus 913 is a little further away from the apartment, but runs very frequently (directly to Vatikan and Castel Sant'Angelo). For the city center you change to the metro. It is 35 minutes walk to Monte Mario with a wonderful view over the city.
Our family of four truly enjoyed Daniela’s apartment in Rome. It is spacious and decorated in a tasteful and fun way with many varied decorations, photographs, vases, etc…. The apartment is a quick 15 minute cab ride to downtown Rome where we did the Vatican Night Tour, Colloseum Tour, Doria Pamphili Palazzo and Gallery and Scavi Tour. We highly recommend night tours or early morning tours due to extreme daytime heat. We also used the bus system multiple times as the bus stop is around the corner and system is easy to navigate. Daniela is easy to contact and super friendly and flexible. She was a joy to meet and we highly recommend her apartment to anyone staying in Rome.
This is a lovely apartment, slightly outside of all of the major attractions. The location is safe and a bus stop is near. We had trouble getting a taxi to come to pick us up, so bus travel was optimal. The owner is sweet and met us when we arrived. She also provided some useful information through whats app for our stay. The shower in the bathroom doesn’t drain well at all. The owner warned us not to flood the bathroom. We had to turn the water off during our shower to keep that from happening. That kept the water cool and made showering difficult.
This is my second stay and it was even better than the first stay. I love the neighborhood and proximity to wonderful shops, bars, and restaurants! Daniela is a fantastic host who makes sure everything is perfect! It is conveniently located to the 913 & 990 bus lines so getting to the metro and downtown is no problem. All in all a fantastic place to stay!
Property is approximately 30-40 minutes walk to Vatican City, close to mass transit for bus and subway to see many popular sites. Water is abundant, clean and accessible. The host, Daniela, provided many welcoming snacks such as a large pastry bread, Nutella, fruit spreads, espresso coffee, pear drinks, peanuts, chips, bottled water, etc. Host provided dish detergent, soap to wash body, towels, laundry machine only- must hang dry wet clothes. Property is sensitive to electricity usage in her apartment. We had to reset the power twice due to too many electrical items were ON simultaneously. The building management shuts down heating typically in the spring season and it felt cold inside the condominium. We had to turn on the electrical heating systems to provide heating. Extra warm blankets were provided and stored in the closets. This place is in a gated community and very safe. It is a spacious condominium. Daniela was very responsive and prompt to our needs and requests. I would highly recommend and would consider staying here again.
What a wonderful place to be. It was near where my daughter is going to university and that made it so convenient. We would definitely stay here again!
Had a great experience ! The host is so kind and helpful , she gave us lots of details about Rome , places to visit, places to eat , how to get there! Never interacted with a host like this , just perfect! The Appartement is super clean and well dotated with everything you need. The area around is very quiet and nice! I recommand this from the bottom of my heart! ♥️
This was our first time visiting Italy. Having made last minute plans to visit Rome, we were delighted to find such a beautiful property to stay in during our trip. The property itself is beautiful, with a large kitchen diner, comfortable bedrooms and a beautiful balcony to enjoy meals together. Travel was very easy, with Rome city centre a short bus ride away and a train station within walking distance to visit villages/towns further afield. We would recommend visiting the stunning village of Bracciano from Roma Balduina station. The host was very welcoming and answered any questions we had promptly. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Rome. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Kind regards, Paul, John and Jacob.
Daniela was a great host. Would definitely stay here again!
The apartment has a great location in a family-friendly neighborhood. Everyone is kind and considerate! I especially enjoyed being so close to great eateries in Balduina and amenities for easy grocery shopping and such. Daniela is a very attentive hostess and her apartment is spacious with great balconies for bird-watching! The parrots were my favorites! I would stay here again!
The property is exactly as you see on the pictures. Daniela (the owner) is fantastic! She did everything she can to make us feel confortable. We had a little issue with the washing machine and she came immediately. The apartment is perfect for a family of 4. Is a little far from the city but we were ok with that as my brother in law lives nearby. There’s a bus stop 3 minutes away and the bus runs every 20 minutes. To get to the city center you have to transfer. What I love the most is that I didn’t have to worry about the check out. Daniela is very flexible with that.
