nice place and close to everything
This location worked out great for us. The apartment was clean, in a good spot, and safe. What really made this excellent though, was the information available throughout the stay. I had all of the info that I needed to make the whole visit very easy. I had a question, started an online chat, and had to hang up before my question was answered, and by the time I got back to the apartment, the question had been answered over email. I was really impressed. I find that often stays in this kind of place (VRBO owned by company rather than individual) can be iffy, but this was really great. The other amazing thing was the view! We were on the 16th floor facing north, and so had the whole downtown skyline right in front of us. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
this is a very nice property in a great location. It's within a couple miles of many well known attractions and there are close subway stops if you don't want to walk or you want to go somewhere further away. it's a nice, quiet neighborhood and Target close by if you want to buy some food/drinks to have at your place in case you don't want to eat every meal out. My only criticism is I would have liked more coffee cups and glasses. Overall I would highly recommend this place
We love visiting Chicago. The AMLI-900 condo was nice, great location, lots of fun restaurants and other services (e.g., Trader Joe's) nearby, as well as main museums, the L (Red line at Harrison & Roosevelt) & lots of buses. The virtual on-line check-in & check-out processes were smooth and well-explained on Kasa's webpages. The condo was clean and had things like sheets, towels, along with some plates, glasses, cookware and silverware. This was our first big-city VBRO and we didn't know quite what to expect. Last year we had a VBRO house in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in a very small town town that only had one restaurant (a tavern that also served burgers and pizza) and an small (maybe 1000 sq ft) 8-to-5 grocery. In the UP our VRBO had plates and such but also a dozen eggs, a loaf of bread, lots of snacks (crackers, cookies), soup, noodles, etc. Not like that in Big City, but that makes sense since you can easily buy stuff in Chicago 24/7. We did have one problem with our Kasa VBRO - halfway thru our stay they moved us because the electricity in 1st condo went out. They moved us to a very nice unit that had a better view. First on 16th floor w/ south & west views; shopping centers & turn-around on the Chicago River for tourist boats. 2nd on the floor looked north, east, w/ some Lake Mich. Small prob was it took Kasa 1 hour to get new condo for us and at 5-6 pm made finding restaurant difficult that nite. Next day Kasa sent us a thank you card! That was nice of them.
Condo was very clean and fit our family great! We appreciated the option of parking in the garage. Even though the condo is rented on a regular basis everything worked great, was up to date, and not worn out.
We thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was so spacious and the views were spectacular.
Clean and close to a lot of the major sites (quick drives). Lots of food/grocery walking distance. Apt is as described. Could use better lighting (for the evening). Appears to have lots of transients in building. Overall, great stay.
I would definitely recommend this property! Check in and out was a smooth and simple process. Great location. The unit was actually a little larger than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. Our one and only issue was the TV - sound worked about 50% of the time - this was not a big problem because we weren’t in Chicago to watch TV.
The apartment was easy to get in and out of and we enjoyed it.
We loved our stay at the Kasa property! We gave it 5 stars for everything. The only thing that was less than great was the noise from the washing machine. I would suggest starting your load then heading out to do some sight seeing in wonderful Chicago!
