Overall, just ok. Very dirty carpets and apartment did not smell clean. Haleays were extremely groos walking to the apartment and the elevator was broken all weekend. Could barely walk out at night because there were so many roaches.
Loved staying here, awesome pool and walking distance to lots of places.
Great location, building quite messy in some areas, elevator inoperable multiple days (we were on 6th floor, so definitely an issue), unit had a strange odor, access locks broken so not secure.
I was in town for a close family member’s funeral with my 75 year old parents and 1 small indoor 13 year old dog (Papillon). This property feels like a concrete multi-story public garage that got partially converted to a dorm. The property listing states they are pet friendly but an electronic noise sensor in the apartment would go off if my dog barked at outside sounds. I was texted multiple times while I was at the funeral with threats of $500 fines and copies of my rental agreement stating no pet can be in the apartment alone. I had to leave the funeral and family to retrieve my dog. Ironically, the apartment is not quiet with significant road noise, construction and trains at all hours. To be clear, the apartment encased in concrete, was very isolated at a significant distance from neighbors despite the texts saying “be considerate of your neighbors”. A neighbor did NOT complain. I will not forgive the insensitivity of treating this situation like an emergency….a few barks triggering a machine ….which removed me from family during my grief. I was already stressed and this management only made it way worse. By the way, there was no grass or location for pets to relieve themselves. There was petrified dog feces by the sidewalk. The management texted me way too much…I even got texts about parking pass updates even though I was there for 3 days. Also the security was only numerous “locking” doors to the parking garage that weren’t locked. The apartment was nice (modern) but the circumstances from management overshadowed everything. Resturant on corner of building was great.(but I got a noise alert text during dinner too). And there were empty bottles of alcohol in the elevator. (Yes, students must live there). I do not recommend this for mature adults or someone with any pet other than a fish that goes to dinner with you.
Slight wrench in the check in as the outside fob was not in the lock box. However, I called and was able to get someone on the phone immediately and she was a big help. Super sweet. Everything was smooth sailing from there. Not a huge fan of the parking in the garage as we had to take stairs to and from the second floor parking garage to our first floor rental. But, it was gated and the use of a clicker was needed to open it. There is available parking on the street just outside the unit. The only thing I would like to see changed would be to have the option to use the exterior door with the street parking versus the parking garage. Again, a very small thing that would just simply be for added convenience. It appeared to be free parking with no public signs posted with time limitations. Overall, a wonderful stay!
Nice but a little loud from trains and people yelling
