Ka'anapali Shores is an oceanfront resort. Unit 734 is a large studio with central AC, facing northwest with stunning ocean views.

Nestled in Kaanapali, just 10 minutes north of downtown Lahaina, our resort offers a serene getaway with stunning amenities, including a beautiful lobby, tranquil koi ponds, lush tropical grounds, and a host of on-site facilities including four (4) EV charging stations in the north lot and stalls for your electric ride.

This 7th-floor studio is a spacious retreat featuring a comfortable 507 sq. ft. interior and a 93 sq. ft. lanai, totaling 600 sq. ft. It is affordably priced, tastefully decorated, and boasts breathtaking views of the ocean, the island of Molokai, and the majestic West Maui Mountains. Start your mornings with a cup of coffee on the expansive lanai, where you can watch whales frolic offshore from November to April. It is filled with natural light and refreshing tropical breezes, thanks to its north-facing lanai that avoids the direct heat of the sun. For those warmer days, CENTRAL AC is available to ensure your comfort.

This beautifully decorated, updated home features new island furnishings, tile flooring throughout, ceiling fans, pendant lighting, and original artwork created by the Maui artist and owner Kathy McCartney. The remodeled full-size kitchen offers ample counter space and is equipped with a dishwasher, electric stove/oven, microwave, and a NEW full-size refrigerator with an icemaker and filtered water (November 2025). The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare meals at home.

The home comfortably sleeps two people on a Queen-size bed and includes an office chair and a portable desk with adjustable height, perfect for sitting or standing while working. Resort Internet is free 5G Wi-Fi (500Mbps). The internet provider is Hawaiian Tel with TiVo+ free channels. New 43 smart TCL TV (February 2026).

Enjoy direct beach access from the condo to observe turtles on the reef and catch stunning sunsets. The resort offers two pools, two hot tubs, a fitness center, a yoga studio, a spa, a salon, and a Beach Club restaurant with live music and oceanfront hula dancing. A sundry store is open daily from 7 am to 11 pm for essentials.

The front desk is available 24/7. There is covered garage parking and outdoor parking lots. Daily parking is $10.95 for your rental cars, and vehicles must be registered online at Eliteparking. Electric vehicle charging stations are available exclusively for registered guests and are located in the north parking lot.

Nearby walk to Duke's Beach House restaurant for live music sunset/evenings. Across the street, you'll find a grocery store, boutique shops, restaurants, a nail salon, a medical center, and a UPS store. Visit Java Jazz restaurant for live entertainment, Pizza Paradiso Mediterranean Grill has Trivia/Karoke evenings, and Slappy Cakes for breakfast. Next door is Honoapiilani Food Truck Park with a food court offering a wide variety of cuisines. A short walk down the street is a local farmer's market with fresh produce,This property is a 5 minute drive to award-winning restaurants and Whaler's Village shopping center. Enjoy snorkeling at Black Rock and nearby beaches, and world-class golf courses are just a short drive away. Kapalua Airport is only a mile away for interisland flights.

    I stayed here during the wildfires of 2023 and the building staff was very professional, compassionate, helpful, understanding, and prepared. None of the units had power, but some common elements were operational as they had gas generators to keep elevators running, pools in service, hot tubs warm, restaurant open, and a cell charging station in the lobby. There were gas grills to cook your own food too. The unit is just as it is described & photographed on the website. Perfect size for 1-2 people. Everything was clean, organized, etc. Nothing to complain about except for the unfortunate timing of my trip. Location is good. Lots of things nearby (walking distance), including a grocery store. Ubers are always close, so only takes a few minutes to get one. Good unit, good building, good location, good value. So all you need is good timing to have an amazing trip here!

    When I arrived to room, the bathroom had not been cleaned and had pubic hair on the toilet and tub. Not one drop of cleaner in the room to clean. Only three towels for 10 days for 2 people and 2 rolls of toilet paper that looked as if they had been wet and smashed. This room is ocean view but not ocean front. The hotel was overall nice and most people that worked there were very friendly, BUT, they were not upfront on the VRBO listing. If you are handicap, elderly or just need a hand with your luggage DO NOT RENT HERE. The room is on the 7th floor and the hotel staff is not allowed to help you and cannot let you use their luggage cart (no matter how much you offer to pay). You are also not allowed to rent DVD’s from the lobby like the other guests at the resort. I did not know this ahead of time and my daughter picked a movie and then wasn’t allowed to rent one since we were “NOT HOTEL GUESTS” as they called us. She cried but nothing they would do. When I finally went and rented a dvd for my daughter, the DVD player DID NOT WORK in the room. I let them know, and at no time was a new one brought up. Also, as advertised on VRBO the children can participate in classes (ex: lei making class). They even attached a schedule for the times. I planned our time so we could attend and then was told we were not allowed since again “WE ARE NOT HOTEL GUESTS”. I reported all these issues to owner of property. She agreed to refund the cleaning fee ONLY if I wouldn’t write a review.

    The place was advertised and delivered the same. It was easy to book, easy to get info on and up to date on many things. I would stay again. The sheets smelt so clean for the entire trip.

    The condo is a small studio unit with a full size kitchen and bathroom. The view is a bit set back from the beach but makes up for that being high on the 7th floor. You can see the ocean spanning across and the island of lanai in the distance. Even woke up to a rainbow in the view. Bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows to relax with. Only suggestion I have, is to have a few floor mats, certainly one at the door so we aren’t tracking in dirt/sand, and ones on either side of the bed so we aren’t bringing sand or whatever else is stuck to our feet into bed.

    The room was perfect size for me and my spouse, okay view of the ocean and all the things we needed for cooking. Check spices before buying any, we didn’t look before and when we did, there was everything we needed.

    We enjoyed our month stay in this studio condo. The view towards Molokai and north was beautiful and made whale watching so fun. Definitely glad we took the binoculars!! We loved the tall table and chairs on the lanai to see over the railing too. The reason for the “good” review was only because the unit is a bit dated and we did look down on a parking area and hear the trucks backing up from time to time.

    We had a great experience and the view from the balcony is amazing. We were able to see a whale sitting in the balcony and having breakfast :)
