Junior Suite at Fontainebleau Hotel Miami Beach

Great stay

The property is nostalgic as I’ve stayed at Fontainbleau 5x before. Love the restaurants and amazing hotel staff.

View was amazing! The room was clean and comfortable! Really enjoyed our stay! Only thing, I wish we knew about the cleaning fee and that the spa and wellness was available for this room.

The beach view is good, it’s not front facing.

The room was beautiful and as it looked online. However, the check in was not what it should be actually frustrating. We arrived about 745pm and the Sorrento tower DOES NOT have check in you have to go to the Tressor tower to check in. Sadly no one in the hotel from the main entrance knew this. So we wondered and found the Tressor check in desk and checked in there. When we started to walk to our room there was another couple waiting for the Serrento check in and we told them no one is there. You should have in your check in that it should been the Tressor tower not the Sorrento. Otherwise everything else was smooth sailing.

This stay was frustrating. The shower was either scalding or freezing, the hallway light was out, and the sink was leaking so badly we had to shut off the water and brush our teeth in the bathtub. A plumber came the next day but left a mess I had to clean. The ice maker didn’t work, and no one followed up or offered any apology. Pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable too! Issues were eventually fixed, but the lack of communication and overall inconvenience made for a disappointing experience

I truly enjoyed my stay

Stayed here on a business trip and really enjoyed the room and resort amenities. Plenty of pool space, right next to the beach and boardwalk, and just a short drive from downtown Miami. Would definitely recommend!

Upon arriving, we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come with a luggage cart. This was after asking 3 times. We unloaded the cart and waited at the curb as valet took our vehicle. Upon leaving, we were told 5-20 minutes when we called down to get our car and bellman to the room. 30 minutes later, half of our party went down with luggage to start loading the car. Car was not there and valet was sleeping in the valet room. They knocked to wake him. When he called for another bellman (35 minutes after we already waited) we decided to go down with the rest of our luggage. The elevator was a 10 minute wait as they seemed to be jammed or stuck or something. We were on the 12th floor so stairs with our luggage was not an option. We finally made it down and had no time to stop for gas for the rental vehicle due to the time wasted in attempting to load up and leave. Monday evening, the middle elevator got stuck while I was inside. There was a bellman in the elevator as well. I would hope they would have let someone know…but just in case…I’m letting y’all know. There seems to be a MAJOR issue with the elevators in the Sorrento Tower! Monday, we called for towels…an hour later…nothing. We asked the cleaning crew in the hallway and they said they would get them to us. 25 minutes later, we were tired of waiting and just decided to head out of the room. There was a bag outside the door when we returned to the room. Overall, the “stay” was good and the room was great. The service was NOT what I expected having had stayed at Fountainbleau several times before.

My family and I had a great time!! The condo is spacious, modern and the views are to die for! The hotel is amazing and you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. We can't wait to be back!

Terrible Terrible Terrible service!!!!!!!Needed towels and waited over an Hour. Wanted to eat lunch and ordering by the pool and beach, had to wait hours for food. Would not recommend....

Aside from my reservation not being in the system for check-in, Inability to check in at defined time of 4pm turned into it being an “unavoidable issue” due to housekeeping being backed up. Ultimately, was never called regarding my room being ready and was forced to inquire later in the evening upon returning from a pre-planned dinner. Room was decent, but as others have commented, it’s due for an upgrade. Overall would rate 3 stars regardless of check-in snafu.
