Joan House Positano

The host was very responsive both pre trip and during our trip. He assisted with private driver and other needs as they arouse. You will not be disappointed with this rental.

In the words of John Steinbeck, “Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone.” This sums up my first and hopefully not my last visit to Positano and the Giovanna house. David and Ana were excellent hosts and the property exceeded our expectations. We were close to everything and the view from the terrace was breathtaking. David recommended a reliable car service to and from the airport. His other recommendations for restaurants and cooking classes (we attended Latteria and highly recommend it as well) were spot on. Overall an excellent property!

A great stay with an amazing view from the patio. Easy directions from the Sita station. Positano is all stairs anywhere you go but worthy! Thanks for your hospitality, we had a great time!

Better than we could have imagined. David was the ultimate host and the place was picture perfect. The nicest place we have been to on our Italian adventure. There are 155 stair to get to the house, but well worth the trip. Thank you David for everything and sorry about the broken wine glass.

This home exceeded all expectations. The view of the town, hillside and ocean was magnificent. The apartment is charming and quiet, and perfect for up to four people. The bedrooms are located at opposite ends of the unit with their own bathrooms. David, our host, lives downstairs, and immediately replied to any inquiries. I highly recommend this five star listing!

The apartment was just right for the four of us. David was an absolute joy to deal with. He was on top of everything and arranged many things for us including parking and porter services. The apartment is just high enough on the slope of the town to have a good view but not so high as to be a significant stair issue. There are a number of good restaurants, gelateria, shops and services in a comfortable walking distance. We would definitely rent David's apartment again. Excellent visit!

David is a wonderful host and this apartment is super clean, perfectly appointed, and in a wonderful location. David was very available to help us find scooters to rent and he even went to get some groceries for us before we arrived. He met us at the top of the stairs when our taxi dropped us off and carried some of our luggage to the flat. Truly a top host and excellent apartment.
