    Nice spacious appartment, had everything we needed. Good location within walking distance close to grocery stores, Old town and restuarants. The electricity had some issues, couldnt use the oven and the heat at the same time, the breaker would kick off. We know that this issue is difficult for you to control but the neighbors dog barked a LOT! Any activity in the appartment would cause it to bark and bark. If we got up during the night to use the bathroom it would bark from 5 to 15 minutes . It was very annoying.

    Jacky was a very helpful and welcoming host. He met us at the building entrance and introduced us to the apartment, and local amenities. The apartment has 3 bathrooms, including two shower rooms, one of which has a bath. The two bedrooms were very comfortable, and extra linen was provided. The living room was spacious with a large smart tv. The wifi was fibre-optic and hence superb download speed. The kitchen was very well furnished and laid out and a dream to cook in. The extractor fan was very efficient and meant no smells despite us cooking the delicious fresh local swordfish and tuna on a regular basis. The apartment location is ideal as it is only 15 minutes sedate walk down into the old town and to the various beaches, but very handy for the Continente shopping centre and Pino Doce supermarket, and various other shops cafes and restaurants nearby. The only downside for us of the apartment was that it is roughly north facing so we didn’t get any sunlight on the balconies (we were there in February/March) so it was a bit too cold to sit out. Overall we had a great holiday and a lovely stay in the apartment.
