Stayed Jun 19, 2024We liked that there were chairs and boogie boards available in the room. This is a nice perk. There needs to be more towels available available for the stay. You weren’t allowed to get them from the front desk since it wasn’t serviced by them.

Stayed Jan 9, 2026Excellent stay! Great area and the resort grounds are lovely. The room is perfect for 2 people. Coconut marketplace is convenient, but a little pricey. Pro tip: go to Walmart for souvenirs.

Stayed Jan 2, 2026What a perfect place to stay for a Kauai visit.Good location for access to both Poi Pu and Princeville areas.The place is well equipped and the property is beautiful.The coconut marketplace is just steps away for shops, restaurants and anything else you can think of.We won’t hesitate to look for availability at the Islander on the Beach when we return to Kauai.

Stayed Sep 16, 2025What a great location. We loved having food and shopping options right outside our door. Parking was fairly easy, but gets a little crowded later in the day. The south side of the beach is better for swimming. Just past the cafe there is a much better cove for better calm swimming. The room itself was great. Bed was super comfortable, AC was nice and cool, shower pressure was good. We would love to stay here again.

Stayed Jan 24, 2025This property is in a great location with close proximity to the beach and the Coconut Marketplace where there are shops, restaurants and dessert options. There's an ABC store with adult beverage options, snacks and an excellent local coffee shop. The beach is literally steps away from the property and the owner provides beach towels and chairs although there are also lounge chairs available (and free) on the beach. With free parking, access to a pool and hot tub and a kitchenette, the price is unbeatable! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Kauai!
