Island House Beach Resort 3N

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely beautiful, white sand beach! The unit needed work. There were boarded up windows in the sun room, a spare window screen propped up in one corner and shades that didn’t work. The sliding glass door didn’t have a working lock but they did send someone promptly the next day to address it (no new lock but they did get a pole to put in the sliding door track). The washer and dryer were not in the unit but shared. Washer worked fine but was very noisy. The place was clean and neat. We did play shuffleboard and enjoyed walking on the powdery white sand.

The location is great but the place feel old. Be aware that they don’t provide beach towels, paper towels….

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we liked the stay at 3N. We did noticed some things that need improvement such as:- kitchen back two burners didn’t work. Kitchen oven didn’t work either- master bathroom toilet didn’t fill up with water many times and needed correction inside the water tank - no extra linens in the apartment. Inside the master bedroom closet there were some extra blankets but not extra linens which could be needed in case they get dirty because at the end is a beach apartment. - we also notice when we got there the floor hasn’t been moped and the living room carpet was dirty and not vacuum prior our arrival.- the apartment lacked cleaning tools for the moping situation and I had to buy one myself in order to have a clean apartment. The mop provided is completely dirty and there were no mop tub either. Basically no cleaning tools

I’m also thrilled with the revamped second bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay. The staff and amenities are wonderful. This is a very family friendly place to stay with the most amazing section of Siesta Key beach!! My child will have beautiful memories to last a lifetime. We could not be happier! Absolutely recommend to anyone looking to vacation here!

You literally step outside of this property and you are on the beach. There are tons of chairs and lounges on the beach to use. The views are wonderful.

We could see people cleaning and maintaining the premises and the beach every day. The location is amazing, right on the beach, which was a huge plus for us. As per past reviews, it's true...the condo is not updated, it could definitely do with some renovation and updates. Specifically to the kitchen appliances and patio area. It would be wonderful if there was a newer working vacuum in the place too, especially if you're staying there longer and you have kids (just a suggestion for condo owners). That being said, the condo is spacious, bathrooms are great, there is everything you could want in the kitchen (appliance and dinnerware wise), there are washer/dryer units on every floor, the view is amazing! Overall, the pros outweighed the cons for us and we will be coming back next year! Thanks for a wonderful time Island House!
