The Space:

Soft ocean breezes drift through open doors as you ease into island time, with Waikiki’s shoreline just a short walk away. Mornings begin on your private balcony overlooking the recreation deck, while evenings carry the hum of the city below and the silhouette of Diamond Head in the distance. Between beach days and relaxed moments indoors, the space offers a calm, elevated retreat above the energy of Honolulu.



Sleeping arrangements

The layout accommodates up to 4 guests with a flexible setup. The bedroom, separated by a sliding door, includes a queen-size bed and a twin-size bed. In the living area, a pull-out sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping space. Bed linens, towels, and extra pillows and blankets are provided for a comfortable stay.



Living area

An open layout connects the living room, dining area, and kitchen, creating an easy flow throughout the home. You can unwind with the TV, stay cool with the window AC unit in the living room, or step out onto the balcony for fresh air and partial Diamond Head views. The recreation deck at Waikiki Banyan is currently undergoing a complete transformation and is scheduled to officially reopen on May 18, 2026.



Once completed, this will be the largest recreation deck in Waikiki, entirely rebuilt with all-new amenities, landscaping, and furniture. The redesigned space will include:

• Three brand-new hot tubs

• A brand-new sauna

• All new loungers and daybeds

• Modern barbecue and grill stations with seating

    What a delightful stay we had! It was so nice to have access to a kitchen and all the amenities provided. We really felt comfortable and at home during our stay! The location is so close to the beach! Would stay there again, no doubt about it!

    Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. Walking distance to several beaches (10-15min), restaurants galore, markets and shopping also nearby. We stayed over a week and had Walmart and Safeway deliver groceries and stocked the fridge for the time. ABC stores are on every corner and a minimart in the lobby to pick up the rest. Laundry was 2.50 per machine with quarters and a card pay app was available. Gas grills took $2 in quarters. We loved the pool and especially the hot and extra hot jacuzzi. The condo came with 2 backpack beach chairs and a small soft side cooler that we put to almost daily use. An umbrella would have been nice too, but most beaches had shady areas to get out of the heat. Workout space was not on site, we found an Orangetheory and YMCA nearby, and there is a nice park/canal area that was a 3 mile track behind the property for a run. We had two very minor maintenance issues and they were fixed immediately. Company was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

    Loved this apartment. The location was fantastic and the lookout over the pool was great to watch the kids. The included cooler bag was a life saver. Would love it if there was an airer to dry bathers and towels.

    First time in Hawaii, and we mostly enjoyed the stay. Close or within 15-30 mins walking distance to coffee shops, groceries, restaurants, food carts, and the beach. We mosly spent time on the beach as the kid enjoyes the water. Enough kitchen supplies to cook food for a family. No spices/tea/ other basic daily stuff is provided, has to be purchased ( was a surprise to me because I had full kitchen stock with everything when booked in the past, might be location related). Floor was not mopped. Yikes. The elevator takes forever, old building problem. I would suggest taking stairs if you got no kids/strollers, waiting time can be up to 10-20 mins. There is a pool and 2 hot tubs on the 6th floor. Impossible to get into hot tub, always occupied. Pool has been cleaned couple times throught the week. Other than that, great location, decent place. We truly enjoyed being close to the beach!

    We love our stay at your property. It’s very clean and bright. The owner has prepared everything we need in the kitchen and bathroom. I love the fact that you can have a clear view of the swimming pool from the unit balcony. I can easily monitor my kids’s activities from the room. The location is conveniently located in Waikiki. It’s about 5 minutes’ walk to Kuhio beach and 15 minimum’s walk to Royal Hawaiian Center. Overall highly recommended!
