In Canneto ... Genoa in my heart!

Nicola was very welcoming and met us at check in. He had great suggestions and information for the area - including a list of restaurants which was much appreciated. The home is right in Old Town so it was very convenient to get around and there were grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Saturday night was pretty noisy with a bar down the street playing loud music until late but the rest of the nights were quiet (you can hear some street noise but it wasn't during the times we were sleeping and wasn't bad; closing the shutters also helped) - not sure if that was typical of every Saturday night or if there was an event but the rest of our 4-night stay was quiet at night and using earplugs that Saturday night took care of it. The house was clean and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and also had lots of coffee options. Nicola even left out a local digestif to try in the evenings (it was excellent!).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Genoa. Nicola is an exceptional host. Communication was great which made our arrival nice and easy. The building has a lift for which we were very grateful. Nicola helped us to find our way around the neighborhood with many nice recommendations for sites and restaurants.

The owner, Nicola met us just outside the rental unit and explained the check in process as well as operation of the elevator. The apartment was very clean and convenient to many restaurants. Nicola allowed us to keep our luggage in the apartment until it was time to go the the airport. We would definately rent this place again.

Charming 1 bed apartment, beautifully furnished and well equipped. The host Nicola was extremely helpful - emailed information about Genoa before we left London, gave us many suggestions for restaurants etc and things to do. Location very central in historic centre, close to San Lorenzo Cathedral with lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby.would certainly use again if we revisit Genoa.

Nicola’s apartment has it all. It has a stylish mix of modern furnishings and beautiful antiques. The kitchen is lovely with everything I needed to make meals. The building has an elevator which I appreciated. The location is right in the center of Genoa. I should have stayed a week! Nicola was the best. He takes the time to introduce you to his home and provides guidance on the easiest routes, sights to see, restaurants and transportation.

What a wonderful location for this absolutely perfect, immaculate apartment!! When remodeling this unit the host chose to retain many of the older elements which make it absolutely charming!! That apartment became our cozy Genova home for a week, and hopefully will be again on our next visit.You are in the true heart of old city Genova, easily walkable to most sights as well as the port. Please take the host's recommendations for restaurants as each one we visited was soooo good and very near the flat. Nicola is an VRBO gem as a host and we truly appreciated him meeting us to help when we arrived and returning when we left. Staying at this apartment was a wonderful way to make memories in Genova!!!

This apartment is located in the heart is Genova and close to everything. It has everything you need and more! Nicola is an exceptional host; he is friendly, accommodating, and makes sure you have a comfortable stay. Great attention to detail. Highly recommended!
