We felt welcome by both our host and a kind resident in the apartment building. She felt familiar like family and we were glad she was there. The apartment itself was immaculate, comfortable, had all of the bedding we needed and a writer's desk. It was perfect for our family- we had a great experience.

A very spacious and welcoming apartment with the original beams and so much more space than you'll find anywhere in Paris. The large clean very white kitchen invites for cooking a bit even on vacation...there are plenty of windows including the three that open widely to a cast iron juliette balcony which lets the Seine river air flow nicely thru the whole apartment, the bathroom has a very large counter and plenty of room for 2. Oh, i must not forget the 2nd bathroom (comes in very handy) where the washer is also contained. Yes the floor creaks a bit, a lot, but hey this is a centurys old building. ..My husband and I stayed a whole month and really appreciated our vacation here. Met new people very friendly and helpful by the way, like our market friend where we found fresh fruit and vegetables and everything else just a 3 minute walk from the apartment and to top the fact that a treat we got to watch tourist boats of all size flow by, we could even see Notre Dame Cathedral from our living room window. And as for the concierge Anna-Maria, well we want to sincerely thank her for just being who she is that is, a woman that communicates a love for life especially wth her warm and contagious laugh.. Thank you Anna-Maria) and buenas noches (Consuela). I recommend fully and most importantly, my husband agrees.

We were so blessed to find this property. We needed some downtime and this was the perfect setting to get it. The Seine provided never ending entertainment. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

We stayed for five nights and had a wonderful trip. The apartment had a great location and was close to attractions and shops and restaurants. The building is quite old which is ok, but there were several areas that need a little attention the stairs going up and the floors were very uneven. Overall a wonderful stay.

Charming apartment with a great location to see Paris. Short walk to Metro, restaurants, Notre Dame, & Latin Quarter. Space heaters take some time to get going, but do work. Hot water tank is small limiting number of people that can expect hot water when showering consecutively. Overall great for what I wanted. I ate out every meal and used to place as a starting place each morning only to return and sleep at night.

The floors are all creaky and noisy, virtually every floorboard moves. The ceiling height is very low. The space overall was smaller than the pictures suggest. The comfort level was below average to poor - especially compared to the per night cost being charged. There is no television and wifi connection was slow. You are basically paying for a view onto the Seine from Isle Saint Louis and even then the windows are smaller that usual and cigarette smoke flows through the windows fairly constantly from people hanging around the river banks smoking. Cigarette smoke also came in from the courtyard.

The apartment is beautiful and the location magnificent, but the appliances and bathrooms need some attention. Our stove top (2-burners did not work. A toilet seat was loose the other fractured. We fully appreciated that this a historic property challenged by age, etc. so we were happy to focus on the positives, which far outweighed the negatives.
