Easy access to interesting places in the Boothbay area. Well kept. Bring some extra towels, as these were in short supply. But otherwise, this very cozy cottage is perfect for a small group or single.
This was a charming, tiny cabin. Exactly what we looked for. The host was quick to respond to concerns. That's as far as my praise can go..... Sadly, the charm was all cosmetic. Two coffee pots, drip, and Kcup, had the last guest's coffee grounds still there. We cleaned both pots, and we were willing to overlook it. Our clean towels, were placed on the bed, but they conveniently hid a large stain on the bedcover. Okay, well at least the cover was clean (?) My glasses slipped under the bed, and I was very dismayed to find a generous layer of dust, along with someone else's dirty ear plug. I used the broom to fish the glasses out, and it came back with an alarming amount of dust. I held off on my review, because I hoped that the host would be concerned about the low level of cleaning their cleaners provided. I sent pictures and requested our cleaning be paid back to us. I was offered a 50% cleaning fee refund, and with much communication back, and forth, I'm sad to say their final respose was... ...Since we manage properties across the US, we see various types of cleanliness concerns and further issues, so this is in accordance with what we usually offer for similar situations. Yow! Look out for the name Evolve in the host section! [For the record, I rarely have a complaint with rentals. If I do, I go straight to the host with feedback, and I leave the ussue out of the review. I don't expect perfection, just clean and comfortable. ]
Cute cottage, conveniently located to many area attractions.
This tiny cottage had everything we needed. Comfortable and lots of windows to enjoy the view of the adjacent woods.
Close to Wiscasset and Chewonki. The cabins have been recently remodeled and are fresh and clean and well equipped. Parking is available right outside the cabin. Well worth the money.
Property was exactly as described! Great location.
Easy to rent
We had a great stay at the cabin. Newly renovated and easy access. We will stay again.
Such a cute little cabin. Size was perfect for our little family of 3, our daughter loved the loft bed. Great location near lots of places to visit, amazingly clean space. Highly recommend.
