Hostmate - Milano - Freguglia- Guastalla

Apartment was pretty good. My complaint would be the couch had visible stains and could use a good cleaning. Also living area was smaller than appeared in photos. Beds were comfortable, nice lift and a great coffe shop and pizzaria downstairs

We encountered bed bugs we all were bit but our girlfriend was bit over 100 times reported it to management and vrbo but silence.

It was a pleasure to stay in this apartment and we will come back for sure!

Very clean, close to the center apartment. Very functional kitchen. Host is easy to communicate with. Do not mind to come back when visiting Milan again.

The property was exactly as described in the listing. It was clean, and the check-in was easy. It was perfect for a family of four with two small children. Walking or a short uber to all the major attractions with very convenient pizza for the kids along with coffee and breakfast for mom and dad right downstairs.

This is a great property for 2 couples traveling together. It was just two of us, however, which just gave us more room to spread out. Excellent area - just a short walk to the Duomo and the center of the city. Good places to eat on the street (during the day only). Sparse amenities in the kitchen, so be aware of that.

The apartment has such great potential. The two bedrooms are spacious and after needing to call to have someone fix the air conditioning it worked well in those rooms ( only those and not the main sitting/kitchen area). Our booking was for two couples yet we were only supplied one set of keys - this was problematic as you can imagine. We were told we could have another set but this never occurred. One reason we booked this property was the outdoor space. Not one of the chairs worked - they were in fact dangerous and not stable. I sent Hostmate a video but nothing was done about this so we had to keep taking the dining chairs outside to sit. The actual area was also very dirty with a plastic cup filled with cigarette buts. There were only 3 forks and 1 knife in the kitchen - someone did drop off a new set. Sadly the next morning we discovered the coffee pod machine didn't work and we'd already purchased 3 packs for our stay. We were in constant communication via What'sApp but were mostly ghosted. The floors were very dusty/dirty and we saw there was no mop to clean them. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms - at some point someone had put dishwashing liquid in a container. Not ideal. The sofa was also rather shabby and one part was very loose. The state of the apartment and the lack of key and coffee machine rather impacted on our stay. It was very expensive and it is shocking that it hasn't been maintained well at all.

Overnight stay prior to larger travel thru Italy

10 minute walk to Il Duomo and the heart of Milan. Great apartment with automatic blinds. I recommend it for a nice stay. I would suggest they make sure there is toilet paper in all bathrooms, but no big deal there is a grocery store just around corner a minute away.
