If you haven't had the pleasure of staying with us before, here's what you can expect from our little home away from home.

If you're a couple who appreciates the comforts of home while travelling, this beautifully appointed, non-smoking (this includes on the balcony) deluxe studio apartment with a sleeping alcove in the Rydges complex on the shores of Lake Jindabyne is a perfect choice.

The apartment, conveniently located on the ground floor, offers north-facing, uninterrupted views of Lake Jindabyne and the snowy mountains. It is centrally located in Jindabyne, within walking distance of Nuggets Crossing and the Old Town Centre, so you can comfortably leave your car in your dedicated undercover parking spot and enjoy the variety of cafes, restaurants, and bars.

Designed with couples in mind, this unit is not child-friendly, and unlike many other units in the complex, additional guests are not permitted to sleep on the lounge. If you book for a couple but attempt to bring extra guests, including babies and young children, your reservation will be cancelled, you will be asked to leave immediately, and no refund will be provided. Please respect our rules and refer to the VBRO website or contact Rydges directly for more suitable accommodation for your family or group.

We understand that sometimes plans change. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our Cancellation Policy. If you need to cancel or amend your booking at the last minute, we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, we recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen changes.

Now that the formalities are over, let's explore what makes our unit unique. From the stunning views to the fully equipped kitchen, we've designed this apartment with your comfort in mind. Our unit stands out with its breathtaking views, thoughtful design, and convenient location.

As already mentioned, the apartment sleeps two people (1 couple). The bedroom alcove has a queen-sized Dream bed with a temperature-sensing electric blanket and a remote-controlled ceiling fan, ensuring a comfortable and restful sleep.

The combined lounge, dining, and kitchen area is home to a fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances, a dishwasher, a Nespresso Coffee Machine, a Slow cooker, and various other appliances to make your stay the perfect home away from home. You'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The bathroom has a full-size bathtub and an over-bath shower. It also has a washing machine and dryer.

The combined lounge, dining, and kitchen area also features a split-system reverse-cycle air conditioner and a 50 TV, complete with an Apple TV box, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day on the mountain or sightseeing. (PLEASE NOTE: There is no WIFI in this unit; however, you can connect your own WIFI to the Apple TV box)

The complex also offers a range of amenities, including an indoor heated pool and tennis court, which you can use as you please. These facilities provide additional opportunities for relaxation and recreation during your stay.

    Easy to find, Deanne was a good host and responded to queries quickly and was easy to talk to. The location was excellent as everything was very close and the drive to Thredbo and Perisher was easy. Thoroughly recommend this place.

    This pleasant little retreat was welcoming from the start, with your own reserved parking spot you go down to enter a waterfront view with a beautiful hamper awaiting us with many high end treats. To celebrate your getaway, there’s beers and even a nice bottle of bubbly. The apartment had everything you’d need for relaxation and even on those bad weather days we were right at home with all the creature comforts. The hosts were great, accommodating some last minute changes and were easy to communicate with. As apartment life goes, the only downside was the party goers and neighbours heard through the thin walls. Thank you for the most amazing stay for our week off, we’ll be back again!

    The apartment was perfect. Comfortable and cosy. Incredible views of the lake were the high-light for us. Close to the ski shops, restaurants and super market. We will be back.

    We had an awesome time staying in the unit. So much so that the proximity of bars and restaurants were not even desired at all. The perfect place to unwind and relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the view at the end if a long day.

    A well presented, cared for unit with all the luxuries of home, including electric blankets and a little gift of wine and biscuits on arrival. Rob the manager was very welcoming and the apartment had all the important equipment for a self catering holiday. Amazingly comfy and generous lounge with a huge TV! Handy location with undercover parking and not to forget the amazing view of Lake Jindabyne.
