It is very nicely renovated space in an old building tucked away near the Marietta Square, the perfect location for me. I recommend reading the information they send you about finding the best unit. It is very detailed. I was dumb did and did not, was graciously guide back to the information by my host.
The place is absolutely charming! So relqxing from the front door, to the spa-like bathroom. It was a very relaxing stay. I would definitely stay there again.
The Tate House Apartment is as described in the listing. Nicely decorated, well appointed, well furnished and stocked apartment convenient to the Marietta Square. Felt secure and comfortable throughout the stay.
It’s a cool little spot, with very spacious bathroom and a kitchen which has everything you need.
Property was lovely and close to downtown. Loved staying there. Easy access to so much. Great French cafe within walking distance. Highly recommend this unit.
Nice, historic apartment. Amazing bathroom. Easy walking distance to Marietta Square.
The location was great, very walkable to the square and plenty of restaurants. Kitchen had the necessities including basic spices and we were able to cook several meals. Bathroom was lovely, as pictured! if I could make one suggestion, might want to bring your own towels since the ones provided don't do the great tub justice. A bath mat would be an excellent addition. Some other reviews have mentioned the noise and the bed. As an 8-month pregnant semi-insomniac, I still had no trouble sleeping through any trains and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks for the great stay!
The property is near a number of cool restaurants. The tub is luxurious I recommend bringing you bath supplies. The space is clean and cute. Checking in was easy.
First off, I don't have a problem with the listing or the property manager per se. What I will detail are the things that aren't listed that directly relate to this rental and our experience. *Access: this is a 100+ year old house that has been preserved for the most part. The stairs up and onto the porch are old, narrow, and tall. If you have people up in age or with mobility issues then this is probably not a good location. *Noise: This is anything but a quiet getaway! There is train noise, and I mean REAL train noise, at least 5 times from 10pm till 6am, then even more after those hours. It is close and it is loud! Traffic noise is also added onto the top of that. Plus, during our stay, the upstairs apartment people were obviously running a marathon back and forth to their toilet pretty much all evening. How did I know it was a toilet? You'll hear that flush down the wall as well. *Sleeping: Since pretty much none of that happened during our stay, be aware the bed is a stiff Ikea mattress that offers little in the way of comfort unless you like a rock hard bed. I curled up on the couch with 4 pillows and a blanket over my head and managed to get a few zzz's. Overall, it's an interesting old southern home chopped up into rental units and needs some better care. If you want a quiet hideaway and some calm sounds, look elsewhere. This isn't that.
A nice experience in a great location. Accommodations were great for a couple. The house looks like a picture from the past with the inside wonderfully renovated. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The property was lovely! A very quiet neighborhood with an AMAZING bathroom. I could have stayed in there the entire time! The host was amazing, accommodating a later check out for us. Check in was a breeze. When we go back to GA, we will definitely be using this rental again!
