Cape May, New Jersey
This historic Cape May cottage, built in 1890 and renovated in 2015, has four units. Unit 4 has two parking spaces, a private rear entrance, and occupies half of the second and third floor of the house. Bed sheets, bathroom towels, and six beach chairs and an umbrella included!
The second floor contains a spacious living room with fireplace, two sofa beds and a dining area. There is also a large eat in kitchen, a full bath and a private bedroom with queen bed. There is a second entrance off the kitchen which includes a bistro table with seating for two.
On the third floor you will find the large open concept master bedroom, with a queen bed with trundle bed underneath, reading nook, and TV. There is also a small full bath with shower, a separate laundry room, and a tucked away desk and work area.
Outside there is a picnic table and a barbeque grill to be shared with the renters of the other condos in the building. There is also a storage box outside where you can find the six beach chairs and umbrella.
*Please be advised that VRBO's default description for a room with sofa beds in it is to label it a bedroom. This property is in fact a 2 bedroom property with two additional sofa beds in the living room and not a 3 bedroom property as described by VRBO in places in this listing.*
I thought that the property was very well maintained and centrally located. The amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. We couldn't get the cable television to work. There should be directions.
It was a perfect location for a stay in Cape May. Close to everything, but quiet and so comfortable.
The stay was amazing. In person, the place is more spacious. It was clean, in quiet neighborhood and in close proximity to beach and restaurants (about 15-20min walking). No issues with check in/check out. John was quick to respond to everything. Thank you for a great stay!
Great space for four women to meet and relax. Unit bigger and nicer than pictures imply.
Beautiful property, beautifully furnished, a lot amenities. A bit far (walking) from the main downtown area... recommend bicycles. We had a great stay!
A delightful two night stay in an apartment with light and space. Haven't slept so soundly in years! Close enough to all the amenities but out of the mayhem of the center of town.
Our family of five had a wonderful three days in Cape May! The condo was very well equipped, spacious, and impeccably clean! The property is in a great location with easy access to the beach and restaurants. The beach badges and the fully stocked beach box were fantastic perks. We'll definitely be back!
Nice apartment. Updated and clean. Good location. Highly recommend.
We absolutely enjoyed every aspect of staying here. It was so clean and comfortable, convenient, and well thought out in terms of extras like the beach box and tags. There were even robes! Could not have chosen better.
Our stay at John’s condo was great. It was better than I anticipated. His communication was exceptional.
This second and third floor unit had plenty of space for my family of four on our weekend visit. It is centrally located (I walked to the Washington Street Mall easily one morning.) The cottage was very clean, well-organized, and charmingly decorated. The kitchen island easily seats four for a meal, and the dining area off of the living room seats six. Check-in was easy and the owner provided everything we needed!
