Historic Boothbay Harbor cottage with antique decor, washer/dryer & deck

It was very clean and comfortable, and in a great location with an incredible view.

nice small place, walking distance into downtown for lunch or dinner.

This cottage like apartment is located within a quick walk to the shops and restaurants of Booth Bay. We were in town for sailing event and found this rental to be very convenient. Its a cozy space probably best suited to a couple but can certainly accommodate a few friends or kids as well. The apartment is attached to a hair salon and a small Cafe'. The only real down side was that there is only one parking space.

We had a great stay in Boothbay Harbor it’s such a beautiful area and the Snug Harbor rental is a very comfortable rental in a great location, it could use a little better cleaning here and there and there is very little usable cookware like skillets or oven pans for people like us who do like to cook when we rent a vacation home, everything I mentioned is a relatively easy and inexpensive fix which we mentioned to the management company that we were in contact with about these issues to no active response, I have nothing nice to say about Vacasa they contact you with a bot but never addressed any of our concerns, the property owner should be aware of how non responsive they are.

We did not stay at this location. It did not fit our needs so we booked another location.

We loved being able to walk to the downtown area. We also loved that we were close enough to walk over the footbridge. Mama D’S which is part of the property is a great place for breakfast.

The location is great. Having a parking spot is great. The pictures made this appear to be a cozy, quaint cottage. It is very old and dark. The steps to the second floor bedroom are steep but also weirdly short. I mean that you shoe cannot fit on this step. Your toe will hit the riser and your heel hang off the steo as you climb up. Coming down is especially awkward. We arrived at end of May and it was 42F overnight. No one told the management company that the boiler/heater had been removed and was being replaced. The management company kept trying to talk us through how to turn the heat on. I told them to contact the owner to find out how to turn on heat. Finally we went into the basement, discovered the construction site and had to send photos to the Mgt Co to prove it before they would finally contact the owner. Fortunately, another apartment at the front of the building (with heat) was available, and they moved us. The other apartment was very nice, and that's why I will give it 3 instead of 1 star. Overall, the building exterior is in rough shape. Looks like the owner doesn't care.

I liked the location of the house a lot!! I will say the neighbors I am not sure whether they live there or not but they had dogs that barked all day long late into the night. Was very annoyed. The upstairs to the house was very creepy and felt like a crawl space but if you aren’t freaked out by attics I recommend the property. Attached to a hair salon so a little noisy in the mornings.

Cute and convenient to town, definitely need to upgrade the mattress and kitchen amenities were lacking.

Loved the location, we ate in the very nearby restaurants and the cafe.very comfortable and enjoyed the many things the owners had added to make us feel comfortable. The unit was quite clean and was easy to see that owners wanted their guests to feel at home. We wished we could have extended our stay, but we are very sure we will be back next year, same time, same place.

Great place, quiet despite being close to two businesses. Could not ask for a better location for Boothbay Harbor exploration. Well appointed, cozy and clean. Bathroom and kitchen could use an upgrade. Nothing technically wrong, very clean, just old.

Location was good. Easy to walk everywhere at the harbor. Easy drive everywhere. Close to a variety of things to do, places to eat.
