Hillside Haven is a cozy, little townhouse located on a quiet neighborhood corner. When you enter the property you will find classic charming details mixed with all the amenities of home. The fluffy pillows and blanket on the sofa are perfect to bundle up in and read a book on a chilly evening. Enjoy your favorite show or movie in this space as there is a smart TV where you are able to stream from your favorite services.

Wander upstairs to the bedrooms to relax and unwind. The first bedroom is furnished with a twin bed and a desk for those who may be working remotely during their visit, this room also has the perk of a partial lake view. The master bedroom is equipped with a king bed and plenty of storage. The kitchen is amply stocked with everything you need to cook during your stay and there are plenty of seats to comfortably dine or entertain. A single car 'tuck-under' garage with a remote-controlled overhead door is located on the ground floor below the kitchen and dining room. The portable keychain remote for this is on the kitchen counter. Access from this garage to the living space is via both a private inside and an outside stair. This is a good amenity for guests with special cars and also for touring motorcyclists. It is a nice luxury during snowy winter months, too. Centrally located, Hillside Haven is within short driving distance to downtown Duluth, University of Minnesota-Duluth, The Superior Plaza which features a CVS, Walgreens, Super One Grocery and Great Harvest Bread Company, and the Woodland neighborhood where you can enjoy the library, Mount Royal Grocery, Tavern on the Hill and much more.

Everything was wonderful except the mouse droppings in the bowls & on the floor. The dishwasher took care of the kitchen ware and a broom ...

Very nice property close to most things in Duluth. The space was welcoming and comfortable. The tuckunder garage was very nice as well as the off street parking but a tight space if you have a larger vehicle, I have a full size Silverado pickup truck and would not fit into the garage but would just fit into the driveway parking spot so that was nice to not have to park in the street. Nice lake views from the deck, kitchen and 2nd bedroom upstairs. This stay made our work trip to Duluth relaxing and enjoyable and would definitely stay here again.

Loved the property itself, very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The road it is on was not especially quiet at night. One day there was a tree removal company there for hours with chain saws and trucks. The road was closed for this work. We came back to rest from hours of biking but it was so loud we just avoided our apartment until they were done. Parking in the driveway was a bit tricky on a hill but we made it work. Was nice to have a garage for keeping our bikes. Overall nice stay, some hiccups but well kept and nice to be near the rose garden and bike trail

I really enjoyed the decor, especially the repurposed antique sewing table for the dining room. The space was great for my parents to stay while they visited the area.

Me, my husband, and our 2 college age kids stayed for a few days for a quick getaway. This place was a pleasant surprise, it was comfortable, close to restaurants, and close to the lake. Our daughter stayed in the small bedroom and our son took the pullout sofa which was not the most comfortable. We brought an air mattress just in case, so he used that, but the sofa-bed would have been fine. All in all it was a nice place and we would stay there again.
