Other things to note
We want your stay to be as pleasant as possible, so we'd like to share some key points to set the right expectations.
Living Arrangements: We reside upstairs with our rambunctious toddler. Although we make efforts to keep noise to a minimum when you're here, you'll probably hear us moving about at some point. To ensure your tranquility, we've equipped your space with sound machines and noise-cancellation materials.
Parking: Parking on the mountain can be a bit tight. If you have multiple vehicles or need space for oversized items, please let us know in advance. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Mountain Road: The road leading to our home is steep but well-maintained. No need for AWD or 4WD; even our small hybrid handles the ascent with ease.
Wildlife: This area is home to black bears, a wonderful natural feature. If you're an early riser, you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one. Please remember to maintain a respectful distance and enjoy their presence from afar.
Security Measures: Your safety is important to us, so we've implemented security features, including a ring camera, multi-point lock, and keycode entry. The top of the mountain is a secure place to stay.
No Smoking Policy: Smoking of any kind is prohibited on the property. This rule is VERY strictly enforced.
This property is so cozy and welcoming! It's also in a great location for Asheville. It's peaceful and quiet while still being close enough to quickly drive into town for nightlife and exploring. I was on a tight schedule and needed to check in early, and the hosts were great at working with me and helping me stay on time. I would definitely stay here again for an Asheville visit! :)
It was a very cute spot for a quick stay in NC. Great if you’re looking to look around downtown, want to visit the Biltmore, and if you’d like to go on hikes.
