Hermoso Apto - Aeropuerto, Jacuzzi & Restaurantes

Communication needs improvement. On the day of our check-in, I reached out as I had no information about where I was going or how to check in to the property. There was an issue locating my reservation, but all seemed well, I received the coordinates and process on how to check in. When we reached the apartment, the views were breathtaking, you're next to the airport and on the 16th floor. Beautiful place, except that's not the apartment I booked. We were supposed to have AC and there was no AC in the apartment I was given nor did it looked like the pictures of the one I had booked. No answer when I questioned why we were given a different apartment. We made the best of it since we were there for just one night. The apartment we stayed at could use some sprucing up, the sofa is all stained, handles are broken off on the cabinet, and the curtains have seen better days. I had booked the same apartment for different legs of our Guatemalan trip, and I am wondering if that apartment even exists as both bookings seemed to have had issues, and I never stayed in the apartment with my original booking. I did not have the best experience with the host and the property manager.

It didn’t happen. I reached out to the owner the day of our reservation as I had not received any information on how to check in to the property. I was told by the point of contact they had just received my booking information, (I booked this property back on Aug 5) and that the apartment was not available due to some maintenance issue. A very stressful situation when you're abroad, while I was trying to figure out just how this could happen and where my family and I would be staying, she offered another option. Within minutes of her offering the new place and me trying to figure out the location since we were flying out the next day, I was told it was no longer available, really?! That night I paid a hotel as I needed to make sure we would have a place to stay. I would give 0 stars if I could. Oh, I’m still waiting for a response of when they will issue my refund! This was going to be second time with this homeowner, the first time didn't go as well either at the beginning of our trip. Beware when booking with them, they may have too many properties and will give you whichever they have available and not what you booked.
