Harrell’s Haven-Waterfront, Dock, Pool/Hot tub

A really nice romantic getaway for two people. The kayaks, bicycles, pool and hot tub make for delightful vacation without having to go anywhere else. And the homeowners are delightful couple.

We greatly enjoyed our stay and, while we were only there for one night, greatly enjoyed all of the amenities provided, including the hot tub! Chose to stay here the night before the Oak Island Marathon, and ended up winning 1st overall! Maybe some good luck attached to this place? ? Thank you so much, hope to stay here again sometime soon!

Everything was amazing.Hosts were hospitable. Room is small but accomodates 2 people well.Just right for a nice getaway. We had access to he pool and hot tub any time of day or night.Watched the sunset from the boat deck.Quiet and peaceful place.We will be going back.

Perfect spot for a relaxing long weekend

We had a wonderful stay at Harvell’s Haven! The hosts are also onsite, and they are very kind and happy to help with every need. Fantastic location and the rental unit was very clean and modern. Nicely decorated! We hope to get back again soon. :-)

This little oasis on Oak Island is the perfect couples retreat. It was one of our best VRBO experiences in the last couple years. The hosts are amazing and their space reflects how much they’re invested in the property. It’s so refreshing to stay at a VRBO that’s owned by private owners and not a conglomerate or business. It makes such a difference to the experience.

The host are very welcoming and warm. The room was very clean and had everything that you could need. It was just my husband and I , we had a great time! The host and his family were using the pool. They were so welcoming to us to come use it with them super kind people. I would definitely stay here again! The location is ideal for anything you want to do whether it be food or the beach. The area in general is full of super welcoming, friendly people. also way less crowded than any beach we’ve ever been to. We will be back .

Great little spot to stay for a few days. The owners went above and beyond and made us feel truly welcome. Too chilly to use the kayaks and pool but we did enjoy the hot tub! Thanks again!

I stay in rental properties often due to traveling for work. Harrells Haven is by far the best experience I have ever had with a host. They were very friendly and super accommodating. The studio style rental was very cozy and had many cool features. It was very clean. We fished from the dock and were very close to the beach and many good restaurants. I highly recommend for a couple looking to get away for the weekend. We will definitely be back.

Our host and hostess were amazing, we enjoyed the hot tub and lounge area outside. Hubby caught a few fish off the dock as I had my coffee. Great place and will return again.

This was our first stay here and it definitely will not be our last. We look forward to many more opportunities to visit oak island and their amazing place to stay. They supply all the amenities to make it a relaxing stay.

Hosts made us feel like one of the family. Property is close to the beach yet away from the crowds. Plenty of dining options nearby. Location is at the end of the road and on the canal.

I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful property! They made sure everything you need is covered. My favorite place to relax was the pool. Hope to return sometime soon!

This was by far the best place I have stayed. It was very clean and smelled amazing. The homeowners are so nice, our favorite part of the trip was hanging out with the homeowners and their kids. Such a sweet family and beautiful place to stay. If I could stay every weekend I would!
