Easy communication with host. Unit was very clean and had all amenities necessary and then some. Great facility with a costal vibe in a super convenient location. Loved everything about it. Would definitely recommend.

Very cute place with all amenities you could want! The entire place feels brand new and the two bedrooms were very nice to have. And, the location is perfect for taking the ferry and grabbing a bite to eat at the local restaurants. I highly recommend staying here (it is perfect for four adults/children)!

Really enjoyed property.

This is the 4th home we have rented in St Mary ‘s and each very nice and would probably rent again but this home was more cozy, quaint, well decorated and the view from the porch was the best of the homes we have rented.

Cleanest property we’ve ever stayed at. Everything about the property was very accurately represented in the listing. If anything, understated. Great location to explore costal South Georgia. It was quiet and we felt very safe.

This property was so well taken care of and located in an extremely convenient part of Historic St. Mary's. Restaurants, the Cumberland Island ferry and the waterfront park are just a short walk away. We could watch the ferries come in and out from the front windows. The apartment is well appointed and very clean. Parking was no problem. We thought one jab with the apartment was going to be - not the apartment itself - but the restaurant/bar located behind it. Friday and Saturday night the volume on the music there was extremely loud and since we are not night people but early to bed early to rise people we were initially annoyed. BUT the music shut off at precisely 10pm each night and we able to get a good night's rest.

Wonderfully historic, beautiful views, great walkability, and good local restaurants. I would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at Southern Bell!! The property was located right across the street from the waterfront! Best sunset views. Walking distance to many restaurants and it’s right next to the best ice cream and gift shop!! Highly recommend!!

My family loved the Southern Bell even though there was a storm. My Brother said there was storm damage to the soffit on the back side of the building.

We couldn't wait to get back here! The place is spotless and so very relaxing! We enjoy the fact that we can go out on the deck to watch the water and listen to the live music next door. Such a cool place to stay!

Cumberland Island has been on my bucket list for years. We stayed at the best location to do so much! We went twice to Cumberland Island, walked to several stores/restaurants, drove to Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach FL too! We even had some down time just to chill out on the porch and watch the boats go by. We even enjoyed the music from local restaurants from this amazing place! Highly recommend and hope to do again because there’s still so much we didn’t have time for. It was just the place I needed at this time. Linda was fantastic to communicate with and her mom did great with the decor!?

We stayed for 4 nights. Upon arriving there was a very strong moldy smell coming from the air conditioner. Stong enough to make us ill. We contacted the manager and over the course of a day and 1/2 she sent a service person out to fix it. Day 3 and 4 were very nice. The place was very clean and beautifully appointed.
