GuestReady - São Domingos - Douro

Very nice apartment in great location.

Great location. Walking distance to many central Porto sights. Many restaurants just outside the front door.

Beautiful and spacious property.The balcony of our apartment opened up to a lively and fun plaza, with musicians every night. At the same time, the bedrooms were in the back of the apartment, and they were quiet even when there was music on the street.Very central, safe area.No elevator, but after walking on very hilly Porto, this did not seem a big deal, especially for all the great aspects of the propertyWe loved our stay.

We stayed in over 10 places during our trip in Portugal without any issue but this property was the most difficult due to the GuestReady Property Management group. If I see another property that uses GuestReady, I won't book it. They insert themselves between the selection and payment process and cancelled me three times after each time receiving acknowledgement that I was successfully booked. If I hadn't been paying attention, I would have had no place to stay. Their checkin process was confusing and they didn't even know who I was. You also can't call them to have a quick conversation so you just hope they respond. Again, love the place but I think the GuestReady management group causes too much stress to book it.

The place and location of this apartment was fantastic. The GuestReady company that manages this place is not good. They made creating the reservation and checking in very stressful by cancelling me three times (I received and acceptance notification, followed much later by a cancellation notice because they couldn't verify my credit card which had nothing wrong with it. None of the other 9 places I stayed had any issues). They also don't have a phone number and won't call you even if you text them with the vrbo app to get clarification. I think the owners should get a new management company.

This is a great place in a wonderful location but the GuestReady management company that manages this location is terrible! Their involvement with booking caused my reservation to be cancelled three times and when I messaged them to get into this property, they said they didn't have anyone by my name with the reservation and they won't take a phone call. They made booking and getting into the property very stressful. I give the place 5 stars and the management company 0 stars! Book this place but beware that it might be stressful working with the GuestReady management company.

This was a very comfortable apartment. It's large, with two separate bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms. The location was perfect for exploring Porto. The living room windows face a busy pedestrian square with live music all day. It was loud but pleasant with the windows open. The closed windows really kept most of the noise out, and the bedrooms are in the back so it wasn't a problem at all. Room cleaning came every day but was very minimal. Don't expect toiletries or coffee to be replenished each time. There are some stairs to get to the elevator.

great little Villa in the heart of Porto. The accommodations were comfortable and location was close to all the shops, restaurants and historical sites. we really loved Porto.
