Stayed Sep 19, 2025Funky layout. Not especially ‘clean’. One wine glass. Tiny tv. No AC (Florence was 93 degrees). When I mentioned I smelled cigarette smoke, the rep acted like I was making it up, but quickly got a fan which dissipated it. Extra fan in closet didn’t work. Couldn’t read wi-fi instructions. Luckily digital signup on back of router. Used sponges in sink. Least favorite place I stayed in Italy and payed a lot for it.

Stayed Apr 5, 2024First, the communication with the person managing this property was ridiculous. He constantly wanted updates on whether we were still coming (we already paid) and what time but when I had a question, he would take forever to answer. I specifically chose this property bc it stated all over the description that it had a washing machine. We are traveling light and Florence was the halfway point where we would need to do laundry. When I got there, there was clearly no washer. All I got from the manager was Ok, I'll let managment know and he referred me to a wash and dry place on the next street. I spent 30 Euro and 3 hours of my time doing laundry in a laundromat with no offer of compensation or an apology. VRBO didn't care either. The place is awful. The futon sofa cannot support a person as it tilts to the right. The shower doesn't drain and you will be standing in 6 inches of water in a very short time. There is mold and dust everywhere and the blankets are extremely old and piling. There are no convenient outlets and the curtains don't close all the way. Also, you are right above the front door and will hear banging every single time someone comes in to the building. We barely got any sleep. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.

Stayed May 16, 2022The radiators could not be turned off without turning off the hot water and it took us a while to figure that out. Maintenance never showed to assist us. Consequently we had to have windows open and fans on, which took us a while to find, and the mosquitoes got us.. The apartment is on a busy, noisy street, which was okay with us except we had to have the window open all night so heard traffic all night. Very handy location and pleasant manager.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This place was awesome! Everything you need for a quick stop in Florence. The property manager let’s us check in a little early because of our arrival and the place was right in the middle of everything. No A/C but that’s quite normal for most places. Overall awesome experience

Stayed Feb 6, 2019This is a cute little place, perfectly located near Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti. The heater and hot water for a shower was great. Linens were cleaned and pressed and you have everything you need. I was one person staying for a few days. You can't beat the value for this nice building. The photos reflect the apartment exactly as it is.

Stayed Oct 24, 2018What a perfect apartment to stay in .Our greeter was Kevin and he was a lovely mixture of hip artsy family guy we just fell in love with him in the first 5 minutes. He has this swiss banker seriousness at first wanting to know you have arrived safely then by the end he had explained how to get to the mall the locals shop at .We gave hime a very modest tip and he gave us everything we asked for so it was very special. The apartment has a tiny washer machine so if you plan to stay a few days get your laundry done right away .there is a laundromat upen until 11 pm about 300 feet away .I cooked all of our meals we work in a restaurant and we don't like eating out the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook clean and celebrate. Every spot in florence is an endless display of art history and civic responsibility. Make your reservation to Museums before hand or on day one to get to all of the museums .The city is laid out in a grid and once you see that it is quite simple the best way to get around is by foot. The apartment had beautiful tile floors was perfectly clean and the bed was very comfortable ,we could open the windows and see the crowds below or shut the curtains and block the noises out .The building it self was quite grand with marble floors and spiral staircase beautiful wood work and a very refined dignity about the actual building .The apartment was new and very comfortable I truly enjoyed this place the most of all of our places we were in Florence for 5 days and it was truly relaxing refeshing and inspiring
