Green Door Lofts-Urban Cowboy - Silos/Downtown

Jim, the owner, personally greets you and is most helpful with navigating the city sites. The loft was featured on the show Fixer Upper. It’s spectacular!

Our stay at the Green Door Lofts was great! We had tickets to a concert at the Waco Hippodrome, and it was amazing to be able to just walk next door! The lofts have a fantastic location on Austin Ave, walkable to anything you could want in the downtown area. Our rental through VRBO was easy, and we received great communication with Jim, the on-site owner. He also came by after we checked in to introduce himself and give us a walking tour of the whole property. We didn't have any problems during our stay, but I have no doubt he would have handled it quickly! A binder of information was in our loft to point us to restaurants and shops nearby, including Jim's favorites! There's nothing better than having local recommendations when there are so many choices around you. Menus were in the binder as well to give you an idea of the types of food nearby. The property only has 9 or 10 units, so it was very quiet and private. We didn't swim, but a private pool for the property was used by other guests. We enjoyed the small patio that overlooks Austin Ave. We found the cost to be very reasonable for the service, space, convenience and privacy we received. Overall, a great place to stay, and I wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely stay here again!

On a scale of 1-5, the Green Door Lofts are a 10! Jim was an amazing host and even allowed us to check out later due to a late flight. Amazing hospitality and will be staying here and recommending the GDL to friends next time we are in Waco. Appreciate you Jim!

The attention to detail is impeccable, from the tastefully furnished rooms to the lush surroundings that invite you to unwind and rejuvenate. Every corner of this retreat exudes charm and tranquility, leaving you eagerly anticipating your next visit. Jim, the owner is exceptional. Jim is one of the finest hosts I have ever dealt with. His communication was timely, friendly and helpful. And he thinks of everything. The Green Door Lofts are beautiful and comfortable. I could not have enjoyed my stay more than I did. Highly recommended.

Located downtown just a couple of blocks from Magnolia Silos. Lots of restaurants nearby and garage parking. Felt very safe! Came back from Baylor game and ran across the street to eat at Portofino’s! So convenient! Check in process was easy and owner lives on site. Condo was very clean and stocked with water, coffee, and a batch of homemade cinnamon rolls! Will stay here again!

Wonderful stay off the charts hospitality!!! All and every comfort of home. Beautiful themed lofts closed to everything especially Magnolia. Jim was such a wonderful host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Green Door Lofts Urban Cowboy loft. Very nicely decorated. Comfortable bed in quiet bedroom. Garage parking. Jim, the owner, is great guy. He is quick to answer if you need anything. He lives on site. Highly recommend!
