Gorgeous views from charming headquarters in the heart of the Finger Lakes

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gorgeous Views. Great location. Apartment was clean, comfortable, close to everything. Loved our stay. We even met the proprietor who was very nice and had some more suggestions for us for things to do. Fingerlakes region awesome.

This property was as advertised. Communication with the host was easy. The view of the lake from the deck was very pretty. While a short walkable distance from the town's main street and to the state park entrance, the walk is up/down a big hill.

The apartment was perfect. It is so cozy and equipped with everything and I mean everything you need. The views were amazing and you could walk to restaurants, shops and of course Watkins Glen State Park. That you could walk to everything and not worry about parking was a big plus to us. The apartment is quiet and very relaxing. The ideal spot after a full day of exploring. Cleanliness was exceptional, and there was even a personal message left for us on the fridge. Thank you for sharing your beautiful hideaway with us we will defiantly be back.

Clean & had everything we needed

Great place to stay with our dogs. Everything that you might want was in the place, lots of towels, coffee, even dog bowls! A short walk to lots of downtown restaurants and an easy jumping off point to drive around the lake, would highly recommend!

This VRBO was great for us. Everything that we needed (and many things that we didn't need) was supplied. The bed was very comfortable. The owner is a great man who takes great pride in his community and his properties. The location is great if you can handle a hill, and it wasn't a challenge for us, and it within walking distance to town, and we loved walking to nearby restaurants and bars. Even the visitor's center was walkable. There was live entertainment in the square one evening (we walked there ;-). If you are looking for somewhere luxurious, this isn't the place for you, but it is a lovely historical home that has today's amenities (washer/dryer, air conditioning, flat screen TV, etc.). The owners have done a great job at making this old home with great character a great place for a respite from our crazy busy lives.

Very clean and comfortable apartment. Location was great and loved that we could have our dog with us. We will definitely look for this listing next time we come to Watkins Glen!

The apartment is so cute and cozy. Close to everything making it easy to quickly pop in for a change of clothes or to drop of purchases. Had my breakfast on the porch and started my day with a view of the lake. Don't worry if you forgot something - the hosts have thought of everything providing so many little comfort items. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay for a long weekend. The host had everything that you could possibly need, and the house was cozy and clean. We would definitely stay here again!
