Garden Level Getaway

The cleanliness and everything was fine. The problem was with the host. The rental is a basement just below the house, and I understand wanting to use extra space to make money. But if you are going to continue cleaning, opening loud creaky doors, and having your kids run all over the place until almost midnight, you shouldn't have a vacation rental below. Also, there is a door connecting the rental to the rest of the house, and a child came down to that door, and suddenly began crying loudly and then ran upstairs, continuing to cry loud enough that we could hear the child, and someone try to console the child. I had been up since 4am the day we checked in, and I chose to get out of bed at 1130 and just drive 3 hours home because the noise was so bad. Ultimately, I did not get the service I paid for because the noise was unbearable, and I really want a refund because I feel as though I was mislead about this property.

Many times pictures can be deceiving, but not in this case. Actually the pictures don’t do it justice. The apartment was IMMACULATE. There was so much room and the bed was super comfortable. The washing machine and dryer were great and the bathroom was spotless. It is well appointed and Nikole was so sweet and accommodating. It’s located in a very nice neighborhood close to downtown Anchorage. I would highly recommend choosing this apartment for your stay in Anchorage. It’s such a great place as a “base camp” for your travels to Seward, Whittier, Palmer and Talkeetna which are within a reasonable driving distance. 20/10!

Enjoyed our month long stay in this condo. A little upstairs noise but very tolerable. Emmanuel and family are very nice and accommodating.

Located in a NICE residential neighborhood, easy access to main roads, very responsive owner. He said that we might hear their kids in the mornings, but other than a couple of times hearing the pitter patter of little feet was quiet and didnt bother our sleeping at all. I was concerned about the minimalist kitchen but we only needed the microwave and didn't need to use the induction unit. The biggest plus for us was that there was laundry in the unit so we could put in a load and watch TV or go out. Would definitely stay there again.
