Funchal City Centre - Savoy District

Brilliant appartment. Close to buses, food and a nice walk into the centre of Funchal. Clean, loads of space. Great communication.

Excellent location, walking distance to everywhere. Lovely big apartment. Very clean and well presented. Sarah was a really nice host and communications were excellent. We would recommend this place to everybody. A lovely holiday and a great experience. Thank you.

A wonderful stay, in the middle of our favourite restaurants and near the Madeira Divepoint, my husband loves to use.Big apartement exactly like the pictures. Very clean and tasteful. With a dated but well equiped kitchen. Sarah was very flexibel and arranged an easy airport transfair for us. Great value for money - espacially for the part of town.

Sarah had kindly arranged for a bottle of Madeira wine to be lest for us. The flat was beautifully clean. The beds were neat and clean, and the one we slept in, the main bedroom was comfortable. Overall our stay was very pleasant. The kitchen, as has been mentioned elsewhere, is awaiting a total refurbishment. Unfortunately, there were no supplies in the kitchen, for example, olive oil. Salt, pepper, clothes washing, washing up liquid (there was a bit of this) Simple things like this, would have made the flat more welcoming. We had a fabulous time in Funchal, the flat made a great base for us! Thanks Sarah.

A lovely spacious property in a fabulous location. Communal areas comfortable and fine for the two of us but would be a squeeze if all bedrooms occupied. Kitchen tired but well equipped.

It is highly recommended to spend your vacation in this holiday apartment. There are many bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a living room. We felt very comfortable there. Sarah is very kind; she allowed us to check in earlier and check out later. She also booked a taxi for us. The location is excellent. There are many restaurants nearby, and it is not far from the old town.

We had a super break in a well situated apartment. Plenty of amenities locally and an easy (10-15) walk in to central Funchal. We loved the balconies around the apartment that enabled sitting in the sun at any time of the day. There was plenty of room for 5 of us (adults) and comfortable bedrooms. Would definitely stay again.

Lots of room.Multiple balconies.Can walk every where.Property is somewhat dated but so are the four of us. Would certainly recommend and will likely return.

The apartment is very spacious , bright , airy, and well appointed .5 stars for the location and views from the many balconies . Check in and check out procedures are smooth and Sarah was always fast to respond to our questions . We would absolutely stay here again ?

Excellent property, comfy beds, comfy sofas, bathrooms are very good, power shower etc, loved our stay, and would def return, only slight negative, is kitchen cupboards, wouldn’t close, but not a complaint, Sarah let us stay till our taxi arrived to take us to the airport in the afternoon, x

We completely enjoyed our stay in Sarah's apartment. It is nicely decorated, large and airy with balconies looking over the city and sea. The bedrooms were comfortable with two good fans if it got warm. Bathrooms were clean and towels were provided. The kitchen was large and had all the appliances and dishes we needed for our two week stay. Sarah informed us the kitchen would be upgraded this winter which will be a nice improvement. The location worked very well for us. Buses run to downtown and out to the natural pools up on the main road. It was also very easy to walk to downtown, about 10 to 15 minutes. The little supermarket at the top of the road was very handy. The neighbourhood was lively and had lots to offer. The internet was strong and reliable. Our communication with Sarah was very good and we were grateful that she was able to quickly sort out a little problem we had at the beginning of our stay. Overall, a great vacation in a lovely apartment.

Enjoyable but property is a little tired but for us a perfect location as we all like good food and shopping.

We had a very nice visit to Madeira. This Condo was a very nice place. The kitchen was in needing work (cabinets hinges were bad and the dryer door needs fixed). But that did not stop us from having a wonderful time. Sarah was alway there to answer all my questions and she helped with getting us a taxi to and from the Airport. We would definitely stay here again!! Felix Family

A fantastic apartment that is beautifully presented, well-appointed and ideally located between Funchal centre and the Lido area. This was our first holiday apartment experience and from start to finish, Sarah was a wonderful host, promptly answering our questions and queries, arranging our airport transfers, and ensuring that we had the best possible experience.

Apartment was very nice in great central location walking distance to old town and lots of restaurants. The main shower did not work and we had to all use the ensuite to shower which was inconvenient and was only provided with one towel each for 9 days and the dryer was not operational so we could not do laundry. Also there is a camera in the front hallway monitoring the door of the apartment which made us a little uncomfortable but other that the apartment was nice and we enjoyed our stay
