I am a 20 year old solo traveler to Bonaire and I stayed here for 2 months. I can honestly say this place is amazing! The apartment is super clean, no bugs, and no mosquitos on the balcony either. The balcony was my favorite place to be, it gets the morning sun and evening shade, but always gets a nice breeze. There is also a small grill on the balcony which I loved so much and it makes delicious food! The main parts of the apartment have no AC (kitchen, bathroom, and living space) but the bedroom has a unit which points directly at the bed and works extremely well. You can also open the balcony door to allow the breeze inside and there is a screen so no bugs or flies enter as well. The first month I was there I did not have a car, which left me walking everywhere. There is a dive shop in the apartment complex which can organize boat and shore dives for you. I did my diving with VIP Diving though, a maximum 5 minute walk from the apartment. Everything I needed was within walking distance. The supermarket is a bit of a farther walk, but absolutely do-able and even the city center I walked to regularly. The second month I rented a car. Parking on the premise is free and there was always a space for me. My car was always safe. The apartment is the perfect location for diving both the north and south. This apartment is super safe, and Mariette is the best host. She regularly brought clean sheets and towels and was incredibly attentive! Until next time!

We really enjoyed our stay at the friendly homes waterfront apartment. Mariette is a wonderful host who provided us with lots of good information about the island when we first arrived and was very responsive when we needed to contact her. The apartment is roomy, well furnished and well stocked with kitchen items, linens and towels. A very comfortable apartment. The location is very good for exploring the island and is convenient to get to downtown Kralendijk. It’s even an option to walk downtown which is great because finding parking downtown can be very hard. One of our favorite things about the apartment was the balcony that overlooked the canal. We enjoyed watching all the wildlife ( birds, fish jumping and the odd turtle) as well as the occasional boat traffic. We will definitely book this apartment the next time we’re in Bonaire.

We had a very nice stay. Quiet, safe area with a wonderful view from the living room. The unit is very roomy for 2 people and was very clean. The owner is also very attentive and friendly. Would be happy to stay again.

We stayed at this apartment for 2 weeks that is centrally located and loved it. There are a restaurants within walking distance. The unit has all the comforts of home with Cable TV, Wi-Fi, and a kitchen well stocked with appliances, utensils, plates, cups, etc..... A nice view from the deck and a wonderful breeze. There is a fantastic dive shop right next door with a rinse tank, drying area, Nitrox, Air and boat diving if desired. When we return to Bonaire we will rent again.

We stayed 3 weeks, and enjoyed every minute. Great location, wonderful view and very responsive host. We will go back again ?
