Freitas Paradise, a Home in Madeira

Freitas Paradise is an independent fraction of a dwelling in a quiet and sunny area, ideal for two to four people.

The accommodation is approximately 80 m² and comprises a bedroom with a queen-size double bed (1.6 × 2.0 m), a bedroom with two single beds (0.9 × 2.0 m), a living room and kitchen with dining table, and two bathrooms.

Outside there is a veranda and a terrace with barbecue, dining table, jacuzzi, sun terrace and parking area for guests.

The veranda offers views of the sea and surrounding agricultural land and from it you can observe the first and last rays of sun of the day, on the rock of the most beautiful pier on the Island, a phenomenon that gave rise to the name Ponta do Sol, attributed by Portuguese discoverers.

It is equipped with refrigerator and freezer, washing machine, induction hob, oven, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi (200 Mbps), TV with international and children's channels, amongst other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.



NOTES

A car is recommended for this location. There is free parking on the property.

There is a bus stop approximately 20 m away.

There is a road nearby and, therefore, there may be traffic noise, which is reduced when closing the windows.

The parking and entrance to the property is shared, but the accommodation is independent. The balcony, terrace and jacuzzi are for the exclusive use of guests.

Due to the climate, there are insects and lizards in the rural surroundings, which may be attracted by food scraps. For those who are not comfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend accommodation in a rural area.

Cleaning is carried out before guests arrive and there is weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes changing bed linen and towels.

An increase in the number of guests implies a price increase of up to 10% per person.



LOCATION

The accommodation is located in a rural area at 115 m above sea level and 500 m from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafés.

Ponta do Sol is situated in the south-western part of the island, which has the best climatic conditions in Madeira.

A few kilometres away, there are impressive cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

In the vicinity it is possible to practise various outdoor activities, such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other water sports.

The property has access to the main road networks.



CONDITIONS

1. We strongly recommend that guests take out travel insurance that covers cancellations or other unforeseen events that may prevent the stay.

2. If you have special needs, allergies or accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking to confirm that the accommodation is suitable and so that we can take the necessary measures.

3. Parties and behaviour that disturb neighbours are not permitted, especially between 22:00 and 08:00, a period during which neighbourhood noise is legally prohibited.

4. An online form will be sent to collect guests' identification data, in compliance with legal obligations, as well as the expected time of arrival and means of transport. The form must be submitted up to two days before arrival.

5. In-person check-in is done by prior appointment. We wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time and, if this time is exceeded, it may be necessary to schedule a new time.

6. Upon arrival, guests may be asked to present an identification document and to provide any missing identification data.

7. So that we can resolve any problems promptly, defects, incidents or cleaning failures should be reported immediately during the stay. Communications made after check-out may not be subject to verification and resolution.
