Fortress Apartament with Parking

We really enjoyed our stay!

The location was wonderful and so were the hosts! Large apartment with everything you need.

We loved staying in this apartment! As well as being close to transport and shopping, the apartment was well-positioned for sightseeing, had lots of character and was well equipped. Travelling as a family of four has its challenges but this accommodation gave us the space we needed in addition to the great location. Our hosts were very helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and giving us some good advice and tips about Florence. My only concern would be for families with young children (under 5-ish) as the internal staircases and lofts may be a bit tricky. However, this place gave great value for money and we would certainly recommend it for families with older children.

Davide and Anna were so kind and helpful. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable. We had a wonderful time. I really appreciated how they had a few cooking essentials there; it was a great spot for our family. The kids adored the upstairs rooms. The location was perfect for us: easy walk from the train station, close to caffes, ten minute walk to the Duomo. It was a lovely holiday for our family. Thank you, Davide and Anna!

This is a unique property. Very clean and well located. Lots of stairs which could be a challenge for people with mobility issues. Anna was awesome to deal with and walked us through everything that the property had to offer.

Great place to stay, hosts are very welcoming. Second bedroom stairs are quit steep, not for someone with mobility issues.

We used the apartment for a 3-day sightseeing trip. The apartment was very well located for exploring the city centre and all the sights on foot. The apartment was generally tidy and clean, and had everything you need for a short stay (if you can survive three days without a dishwasher) and was in good working condition – you always have to bear in mind that it is an old, authentic house.The layout of the rooms is also very practical, especially if you are travelling with several people. The possibility of parking your car in the courtyard is also worth mentioning. If you are travelling to Florence by car, you can safely park it there without any worries, as you don't need it to explore the city. The reasonable fee for this is also acceptable, as there are hardly any other options for parking your car in the city centre. Our hosts were very nice and accommodating and were able to help us with any questions we had.

Really a great spot to discover Firenze, the hosts are super nice and help find the great spots. Had a fantastic time, recommended!

Anna and David were wonderful hosts, checking us in and giving us advice on where to go and what to do. The apartment was clean, had 3 air conditioning units and was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The property is very functional and pleasant. It was clean and everything worked well. Location is terrific. The stairs to one room are very steep- difficult for some. The bedrooms are all lofts, which has a great vibe, but may be loud for some groups as it is open space without doors. The sound carries and privacy for mixed groups would be limited. As a family, it worked very well for us. We enjoyed the living spaces, which were quite spacious, together nicely. A very cool place, with helpful hosts, clear instructions and nice, safe location. We loved it!

We are a family of 5 with three college age daughters. This was perfect for us, great value for the money and Anna and Davide were very accommodating and allowed us to check in a little early based on the time our train arrived in Florence. Easy walk to all areas in Florence and it worked out perfectly for us!

Location location location Anna and Davide’s apartment was first class located conveniently near the rail road station and old town. The location facilitated using the tram T2 from the airport (1.5 euros) rather than use a taxi (35 euros). The court yard entrance off the kitchen offered beautiful fresh air. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We all loved our stay.

Excellent location, close to parking outside the ztl. Davide was very nice and welcomed us with great recommendations. We liked our stay in this place… but note that bedrooms are in mezzanine so no doors. But the place was great with lots of place and two bedrooms

We came to Florence for a 3 night stay, communication between anna, davide and myself during the stay and before we arrived was excellent. They met us at the apartment to talk us through everything we needed to know. Anna also mentioned various places to visit during our stay, if she hadnt then we would have missed out on the spectacular views of Florence from Piazzale Michaelangelo!The apartment itself was lovely, about a 7-8 min walk from the train station, bars, restaurants and mini supermarkets close by. 20 min walk approx to the Duomo.Beautifully decorated, very spacious, 2 mezzanine bedrooms with sofa beds, one located over the living area and one over the kitchen. Main bedroom accessible by a separate staircase (note - the stairs are a not actual full steps and a bit steeper than a normal staircase, but not a major issue for us) and had its own ensuite toilet and basin, main bathroom is downstairs and had everything you needed.Kitchen large with large dining table, induction hob, microwave, kettle, fridge. Basic food items also supplied.Apartment also offered parking at the back of the building which was accessed via a gate so your vehicle would be safe.I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone plus Anna & Davide were very friendly and lovely hosts.Grazie per il meraviglioso soggiorno

Great stay and great host! Davide communicated well and took good care of us. Apartment was very clean and well stocked. Location good for short walk to train station and to all the central Florence attractions. Recommended and would stay here again happily!

This summer I went to visit Florence with my friendgroup of 8 people. This appartement was a really nice fit for our group. It was clean and had a lot of space. The location is also very nice! It was very close to the train station, is close to multiple busstations and within 5/10 minutes of walking you are in the city centre. I would definitely recommend this appartement to everyone else. The owners were very nice and considering (they let us stay longer for check-out) and everything else went very smooth.

Great location, wonderful apartment.

My husband and I along with adult daughter stayed there for four nights. It was a great home base. There are three lofts, two with beds. I would be very careful on who I recommended staying up in those as the stairs are VERY steep. Anna was wonderful to work with.
