Stayed Dec 29, 2025The good: the location is amazing. Close walking to everything. The beds and bedding were super comfortable. Loved having a washing machine. Unfortunately, the hose broke and water flooded the living room, but the host was very responsive and sent someone to clean it up and fix the hose very quickly. The bad: the description describes heat. When we arrived it was 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit outside. There were small furnaces under the windows which were very slow to warm the home. There was split AC/heat units in each room but disconnected and when asked told they are not for heat. It was 57 inside when we went to sleep, and over our stay it never got warmer than 65. The shower cycled between hot and cold water every couple min. Not a big deal but to be aware: there was mold in the shower. A few either nonfunctioning lights or light bulbs out. Only 1 pillow per person. I messaged prior to our stay and the day before our stay asking if it was possible to check in early since our train arrived at noon. Not approved and told to hold luggage at train station. Because of this we planned a long lunch while we waited for 3pm check in time. In the middle of lunch around 1:30, I get a message to meet earlier for check in. That was no longer an option, but could have planned for that with better communication and more heads up. I arrived at the home at 3pm. The manager was at another location checking people in. He arrived around 3:20.See home rules in attach pic-not in description

Stayed Dec 26, 2025Due to some ceiling damage at the apt that we booked, Nimoe was extremely accomodating in getting us an alternative apt that was beyond our expectations. Nimoe was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Stayed Oct 17, 2025We did not tour a vineyard. Apartment was the perfect location in historic Florence. Everything was in walking distance. Just an FYI for Americans, in Europe 1st floor is what we would call the 2nd floor. Apartment was accessed by 18 stairs. If climbing stairs is an issue for you this may not be the apartment for you. It was perfect for us.

Stayed Oct 3, 2025Friendly host. Spectacular location. Surprisingly quiet inside for a bustling city. Comfortable beds. Serious charm to the apartment. Not for those wanting modern luxury with an elevator, but perfect for our family with excellent price. Would return here..

Stayed Sep 20, 2025Location, location, location. Couldn't have asked for a more convenient, central location. Other than that, if you are looking for something nicer than old world rustic then this is not your place. No complaints about the cleanliness, management or their responsiveness just feel the professional photos make this place look a lot nicer than it really is. One note, probably just our ignorance since we ran into the same thing at another stay in France this trip but...there is a trick to using the gas cooktop which is you have to push down on the knobs when you turn them on or no gas flows. I hand wrote that on the info sheet in the apartment for future renters but it was new to us. My only other comment is that this was my second time in Firenze - though my first was a long time ago. It is now overrun with tourists like many other popular cities in Europe but I have to say I was amazed by the lines and the crowds in late September.

Stayed Aug 14, 2025Absolutely loved our stay here at the Florence tower apartment. Only one flight of stairs and a super comfy bed. The bathroom was a great size and clean. Lastly the location was perfect we walked everywhere from the Ponte Vecchio to the Duomo all the way to Academia with to see the David. If I find myself back in Florence I will definitely stay here. Can confirm the tooth fairy will visit this apartment if needed!

Stayed Sep 18, 2024The location couldn’t be better! Everything Florence has to offer is easy walking distance from this lovely flat. We loved being so close to so much history and culture. The flat was clean and comfortable. A couple things to note. The stairs leading to it are steep and potentially slippery. This is a historic building, wonderfully updated but still has some old world features. Also, be sure to pay the required city tax in advance or you could find yourself locked outside in the rain.

Stayed Aug 23, 2024My family of five, including two teenagers and a younger child, stayed here for three nights in August 2024. The check in process was easy. The owners were communicative and gave clear instructions and met us at the apartment to explain how everything worked. The location of this apartment is amazing. It could not be better. It is close to the Duomo, the ponte vecchio, many wonderful shops and restaurants, and anything else you’d want to see or do in Florence. The apartment sleeps five comfortably. The adults slept on a double bed, the teenagers slept on twins, and the child slept on a pullout couch. The apartment has a tiny washing machine. It does not hold much but if you have been traveling for a few days (like we had) it was nice to be able to do laundry. The air conditioning worked well and was very nice to have in August. The bathroom is small but clean and functional. As many reviews have mentioned, you have to climb some rather steep steps to access this place. This was not a problem for us but would be a problem for anyone who has difficulty with steps. We had a delightful stay here and would stay again if we return to Florence.

Stayed Jun 1, 2024The best location. Historical apartment. Hosts excellent on communication. It could have used updates. It smelled a little musty. Small things like dish soap to clean used dishes would be helpful.

Stayed May 26, 2024The apartment was as advertised. Amazing location, no frills, but as promised. It is tucked away from the main streets and the windows do muffle most of the noise when closed. The a/c units in the bedrooms worked really well. But the distinguishing factor in this apartment was the manager, Nimoe, who went well above and beyond to save our vacation. We tucked our passports away when we arrived and then forgot them when we left. We didn't realize they were missing until we were back in Rome. I contacted Nimoe and within 30 minutes she had secured them for us. She then researched ways to mail them to Rome but nothing was fast enough to get them to us before we were scheduled to fly home. So she found a friend who lived near the train station to hand them off to me when I sped back on a train to retrieve them. Her flexibility, creativity, patience, and general grace with me while I was panicking cannot be overstated. I suspect there are many apartments like this one in Florence, but I doubt there a many managers like Nimoe who would do what she did. Grazie mille!

Stayed May 19, 2024The host, intermediary and owner very quick to respond to any concerns. Wish we had just a tad more info about using different things in the apartment. All attractions were within walking distance. There is a midnight noise curfew for music, none for revelers, which could be a challenge for some because it is so close to all the action.
