FLORENCE ARMONIA, bright and quiet apartment in Florence, for 4 people

Unique property, well equipped, good sleeping. Would have given it a better rating if the greeter could speak English and provide some instructions or information about the area. No English information found inside. Not as centrally located as we thought.

A really lovely apartment full of character. Easy to get to main attractions (we walked, but plenty of public transport).

No Bueno. We arranged to meet Alessandro (Sabrina the host’s assistant) at 1:45pm for an early check in as we had just travelled over 5 hours to get there. When we were let into the apartment nothing had been cleaned from the previous guests which Alessandro apologised for. We were understanding, as we had asked for an early check in (original check in time was 3:00pm). Although it was inconvenient for us, we still needed to return our rental car, so we explained clearly, that we will be out for a couple of hours in order for him to arrange to have the apartment cleaned asap (as we were very tired, just wanted to shower and get settled in)! We arrived back at the accomodation at 4:30pm to find the place the exact same. After constant back and forth phone calls and messaging via WhatsApp (to Alessandro) and Stayz (to Sabrina) to see what was happening in regards to the cleaning, the cleaner arrived at 6:45pm. It then took the cleaner over 1.5 hours to clean, as the apartment was filthy. We requested compensation from the owner to which we were ignored. We only had 1.5 days in Florence and lost hours waiting around just so we could have a shower and get settled.

Let me first start out by saying this apartment is adorable. 10/10 aesthetically and in comfort! We loved the neighborhood- cute little caffe's, a nice farmers market, and nice people all around! However, This is not close to downtown Florence. About a 35-40 min walk. 10-15 min bus ride which is accessible around the corner. NOT EASY to catch a cab from here. So just be aware. You can order an Uber but the only one we found was a black car which was obviously more expensive and was surging so it was spendy! The cab back from downtown was easy though and only $15euro. Just something to be aware of if you stay here! There are definitely cute walkable restaurants in the neighborhood and it's cute clean and quiet in this area! We did enjoy our stay!

The apartment was even better than the online photos! Alessandro was east to get ahold of and answered all questions immediately. The neighborhood was quiet and within a 40 minute walk to the sights. It was also right next to the bus! We will be coming back!

we enjoyed our four-day stay in Florence, largely due to our choice of this exceptional accommodation. The space was wonderfully roomy, cozy beds, a generous living room, and a delightful balcony. The pleasant view and inviting neighborhood added to the charm of our experience. Communication with the hosts was seamless, and we were warmly greeted upon arrival —we absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Florence!

The property is ok. It’s a long way out of Florence centre but we like to walk so that’s fine. It wasn’t that clean. A film on the crockery etc. The shower was broken, but we put up with these things. This was a huge mistake as we had money taken directly from our bank account (60 euros) for causing damage that was already done. It’s in the terms and conditions apparently. Honestly it spoiled our memories of Florence. Always take photos of anything you think is broken, even if trivial and cause a fuss or you’ll be out of pocket!
