FIFA Perfect | RiversideMoon 2: Pompano Beach Retreat

When we arrived (around midnight, after a late flight and long drive), we immediately had difficulty finding the front door as there was no lighting, no tidbit that there are two doors for every unit number, and that the actual front door was hidden behind stairs. Once we entered, we were immediately hit by an odor of mildew. The shower in the main bathroom doesn’t fully shut off and with no ventilation, water just sits on the ceiling. When we tried to air out the place, we discovered that not a single window has a screen so it wasn’t possible to even sleep with the windows open so we were forced to buy diffusers to help with the stench. There was ONE plug in we found but it was empty… fire hazard? No stand fan either. No extra blankets. Uncomfortable beds. Now, on to the pool… it’s one thing to have been surprised that it was not a private pool with some sort of direct access (like a balcony/patio) but the one instance we ventured there, we discovered that it was freezing cold despite the advertisement of it being heated AND there is a unit directly attached to the pool area. So, not only did we not get to enjoy an aspect of the unit we paid for, looked forward to, and disregarded other rentals for BECAUSE of this “perk”, but even if we tried to enjoy the pool, doing so would have encroached on someone else. We also had no WiFi. Tried to work out compensation with the Hospitality Group but no issues beyond the WiFi were acknowledged. Disappointing to say the least.

We were excited for this great location and walkability to the beach and restaurants. We had good communication from the Mgmt company. Plenty of towels, beds slept okay. Could not get TV to work initially until we figured out the Roku remotes were switched between living room and one of the bedrooms. Kitchen supplies were sparse, such as only 2 dinner plates and 3 coffee cups! The place could use a really good deep clean. Especially the tub (slow drain, probably due to hair clog) and shower floor (mold). Maybe suggest cleaning crew spray tub and shower with Clorox cleaner after EVERY rental. All 4 bar stools white upholstery are dirty. Compared to other rentals we’ve had in the area, this one just didn’t hold up but has the potential if items above are addressed.

We enjoyed our stay The location was amazing, close to Pompano beach and walking distance if you had no car.Nov 13-19.... we are from Toronto Canada and it was a nice short get away with my 2 older boysOnly recommendation is that there are more pillow options.....have a few extra that are firm Condo was very nice

We had a fantastic time in Pompano Beach at this VRBO! Excellent location, one block walk to the beach, short walk to many restaurants and the Pompano Beach Fishing Pier. Communication with te host was superb and timely at all times during the stay. I will book again as this was an excellent spot hosted by kind, responsive, and detail oriented hosts.

Master bathroom: tile cleaned , rug washed, soap dish on vanity, tact for soap and shampoo in shower, towel rack, door trim in need of cleaning and paint Master bedroom: blinds repainted, new mattress, new sheets, light bulb in closet Second bedroom bath: tub cleaned, rack for soap and shampoo, soap dish vanity, blinds repaired, bugs in tub Lights over kitchen counter blinking, need to replace Overall the place is in need of a real good cleaning With a little TLC the place could be nice but in the present state I would not recommend it return. I also found the exposed cable and wiring running up walls and along baseboards just unprofessional.

The condo was very nice with modern tiles and nice furniture. Clean, but the rug around the bed needed a little more care. I really liked the set up. I love having the 2 beds in the 2nd room. That is the primary reason we wanted this place. More places need to do multiple beds in the 2nd room. Easy walk to the beach. Nice thought to have beach towels and chairs. I also loved having laundry. The only negatives were that the LED screen on the stove was not working so you had no idea what temperature the oven was set at. Also NO towel racks in the bathrooms. There was only 1 over the door hook. That does not work with beach and shower towels. Need a hand towel hook and multiple towel bars or a drying rack. Overall a great stay and would visit again.

This condo is in a great location - short walk to the beach, with beach chairs provided by the hosts. Easy to navigate to any local attraction. Very clean like the photos.However, there is an issue with the HVAC system which we communicated to the host soon after arrival, and again a few days later. The system may have mildew or mold in the ductwork. There was a distinctive smell when running the air and it caused sore throats in 3 out of 4 of us. The host said it was due to not being used and that there had been rain recently. They did not send anyone out to inspect or test for mold while we were there. Admittedly, it was the week of Christmas. Thankfully we had a few days of cooler temps and low humidity so we could open some windows. There are no screens on any window, so that’s not ideal. We live in SC and have experienced our own mold issues in the past. It’s not healthy.Our sons said the beds in the 2nd bedroom were extremely hard, so different mattresses may be in order.We cooked several meals including Christmas dinner in the unit and found the kitchen to be well-supplied. The hosts also provided plenty of toilet tissue, paper towels and trash bags for our stay. If the air conditioning system hadn’t smelled bad, this would have been an AMAZING stay.

It was clean and stocked with the essentials needed. Host was quickly responsive and helpful when I had a question. Easy to locate, quiet and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Great location to enjoy beach, shopping and good food.Would recommend if looking for a place to unwind and kick back

Very clean, but by no means luxury. If you are looking for low cost, safe, clean vacation housing near the beach this place is certainly fine. Areas for improvement: Single ceiling fan in the dining area has no remote. I had to get on a chair to turn on the fan, and it makes a terrible humming noise. Bed in the master bedroom is worn. Sunken and needs to be replaced. No exhaust fan in either of the two bathrooms, or kitchen Vertical blinds have vanes missing. Living room doesn’t have a single lamp in it - neither table nor floor. Couch is impractical to sit on. Oddly deep cushions that are very uncomfortable. Apparently it converts to bedding. No towel racks in either bathroom. Indeed a hook over the door is provided. If you use just one faucet at a time the hot water is fine, but if you try using two faucets (or faucet +washer/ dishwasher) at the same time the water gets lukewarm at best. Apparently, the bath tub counts as two faucets because it never got hot. Underpowered electric flash water heater. No ceiling fan in either bedroom. Fry pans were very cheap and were warped. Barely make contact with the smooth top stove. “Heads in beds” business model vs luxury and comfort

We were in Florida for our daughter’s 40th Birthday Party. Her father is a retired Chef and she asked if he would please come to Florida where she lives with her partner and prepare a birthday dinner for her. She wanted her father’s lasagna recipe but he agreed to cook.? I searched for accommodations in/around the Fort Lauderdale/Pompano Beach areas on the online website and came across these condos. My husband loved the gourmet kitchen!! We were very impressed with how clean and comfortable everything was…we did have a bit of confusion when we first arrived concerning the keyless lock…we were at the wrong door but after contacting Mr. Newman, he assisted us and we loved it at first sight!!! We will return…The king sized bed was the best sleep my husband has had in 7 years. His opinion and I agree!! We’ll be back!!♥️♥️
