Farriers Quarters is part of an existing group of 6 cabins on a nearly 300 acre cattle ranch at Sevier River Ranch & Cattle Company - a quiet 280 acre ranch in Hatch, Utah, between Bryce Canyon (25 mins) and Zion National Park (50 mins). Farriers Quarters is log cabin style in a 3 unit building much like a 3 unit motel. It shares that building with The Tack Room and The Barn. This is your opportunity to enjoy a stay in a recently remodeled cabin. Have a look at the top reviews for other cabins at Sevier River Ranch & Cattle Company and rest assured that your expectations will be exceeded.

This is a single log cabin style room with a luxury bathroom included. It has been recently remodeled with travertine floors throughout (no carpet). The room features a travertine bathroom and a kitchen with granite counter tops and custom hickory cabinets. It has handmade log beds.

Farriers Quarters also features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a kitchen table, and a flat screen smart TV (you can use it to log into your Netflix or other accounts. The ranch includes pastures with the Sevier River meandering throughout and majestic sunsets. It has central heating and air conditioning.

High speed Internet service (free wifi) and Smart TV available to use with your accounts. WiFi has been upgraded to the new local fiber optic network.

There are also 4 other small cabins on the property and a 3 bedroom house within 200 feet or so from Farriers Quarters: The Ranch House, Wranglers Quarters, Ranch Hands Bunkhouse, and The Barn have been in operation for several years. Farriers Quarters and The Tack Room were added for the 2020 Season. These cabins may be reserved together with Farriers Quarters (through separate listings) for your large group gathering. Be advised that other guests will be staying in other cabins during your stay in Farriers Quarters. Our cabins book almost 100 % during the busy season.

You will enjoy a good night rest in eery silence. If you're from the big city, it will take some getting used to!

The property is equipped with state-of-the-art electronic locks so that guests can check themselves in at any time, and late check-in is not a problem. Guests can roam freely on the ranch as well as fish (with a Utah fishing license, that can be purchased online) and swim in the Sevier River.

We are always available to answer any questions or give you tips for day trips or restaurants. Do not hesitate to reach out with any question, prior or during your trip.

You can explore the natural wonders of the area. The Ranch is located between 2 of the most visited National Parks in the country. Animal lovers will see horses and cattle on the property during the summer, many deer roaming the property, and can watch a large array of birds right from the deck. We have the biggest animal sanctuary (Friends) in the US 45 minutes away. It is situated on the Sevier River in Hatch, Utah, a small rural town of 200 people. Locals are very friendly and helpful, and you shouldn't hesitate to ask anyone for tips and recommendations.

The Sevier River Ranch is very private on the edge of town. It sits on 280 acres and is traversed by the Sevier River and there are typically 100+ head of cattle on the property during the summer season.

Note that there are no grocery stores in Hatch and you should plan to bring at least some food with you. The nearest grocery store is in Panguitch (15 mins) and you will find a Walmart Super Center in Cedar City or a grocery store in Kanab (1 hour). There are two convenience stores and 4 restaurants in Hatch, but they close from about October 15th through April 15th. There are several restaurants on the way to Bryce Canyon and some are open year round.

There is no public transportation. You will need a car (a 4x4 or high clearance is recommended in order to enjoy the surrounding off road trails), but a regular low-clearance sedan is sufficient to access the Ranch House itself.

We have a strict no-pet and no-smoking policy.

This was a great stay! Stayed for one night while going from Zion to Bryce Canyon. The cabin was exactly as pictured and was clean and comfortable. I appreciate the heads up to eat and get groceries ahead of time as there is nothing in the immediate surrounding area. We would absolutely stay again!

What a beautiful location. The ranch is well enough off the local road/highway to make it quiet, and the landscape is beautifully undeveloped- lots of great vistas in most directions. The cabin itself is just as advertised: a fully wooden interior, with great views out the living room, kitchen and bathroom windows (we saw three deer trotting along just outside the back). Beds are comfortable, lighting is good, shower is fine (and probably the best views out a bathroom window i've ever had). Only minor criticisms: dishwasher doesn't work (we ran it once and it ran for 3 hours but had to re-wash them in the sink; and if I enjoyed the place more when we didn't have immediate neighboring guests on the other side of the wall (not a lot of extra noise, but enough to notice). There are two other attached cabins adjacent to Farriers; I loved it most when we had it all to ourselves, but neighboring guests were respectfully quiet and of course I respect the host's being able to get a return on his great investment. Overall highly recommend- would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful little cabin, gorgeous property. Farriers Quarters cabin could benefit from getting rid of the two queens and put a king size bed in. There is barely enough room to walk in between or around the beds.a little more communication would be great. There is a cool little fire pit but we didnt know if it was ok to use, no firewood around so we assumed it wasnt.

Such a quiet and lovely place to unwind and do some stargazing. Really nice kitchen with new appliances and dishwater, beautiful tile throughout, and super comfortable beds. Very close to both Zion and Bryce, and other natural spots. The cattle and the horses came up to the fence close to our place, and the pinto enjoyed a good scratch under her chin. Loved it all!

The Farrier’s Quarters were spectacular! There was ease with scheduling my stay and entering the area physically. The host was easily accessible and everything was right at our finger tips. The place was spotless and beautifully located! I would definitely recommend and come back to this location!

The cabin was perfect for our needs. It was away from the crush of the parks but close enough that driving was not a challenge. We met some good folks while staying as well. Dining in Hatch is limited but the kitchen was great and we prepared most of our own meals. The stars at night were amazing too!

We stayed here mid-September- GREAT location for visiting Bryce Canyon and Red Canyon. Nice and quiet, clean, and cozy. Tranquil grounds to relax after a long day of hiking. Good advice on their website to stop at SuperWalmart for groceries in Cedar City ... really nothing else close.

We had a wonderful stay in the Bryce Canyon area, and found that Hatch was not too off the beaten path to drive to Bryce and also some of the other nearby sights. We ate at The Outlaw restaurant, and had coffee and breakfast each morning at the Hatch Coffee Shop (excellent). We did leave a day earlier than expected, and did reach out to the owner to let him know. Both my husband and I struggled sleeping due to the very soft mattress. After the 3rd night, we made a decision to be on our way with our trip, and headed to Zion National Park. Everything else was very nice, a little remote and limited restaurants for sure, but the mattress really was challenging.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Farriers Quarters which was well appointed, clean, quiet and comfortable. We found it to be well situated between Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park which were our vacation objectives for the trip. It had a great cabin feel with all wood furniture and cabinetry. Modern appliances made meal prep very easy. We would definitely stay here again if possible the next time we're in this beautiful part of the country. Gordon was very responsive the few times we had questions about the accommodations.

Authentic cattle ranch when driving up to the property, and a charming and manicured landscape surrounds you once you have arrived. Entering your room, you are met with a rustic yet clean esthetic with updated modern full sized appliances as well as upgraded features such as granite counter tops, large, walk-in shower, and views of the surrounding wilderness.

Lovely place to stay! Easy to find. Very comfortable. If you are a bigger person you may not be able to get into the beds of the farrier cabin. I do not know what the others are like but there is enough space for an average sized person to go between walls and beds to get into the beds. So just something to consider if you are larger bodied.

We loved coming back from a challenging day of hiking to a quiet place off the beaten track. It was a joy to escape the touristy Bryce Canyon City with poor restaurants. We enjoyed the restaurants in Hatch the best. If you don't fly and can bring your own cuisine or buy and prepare meals from the grocery store it's a better option. Watching the birds, prairie dogs, wesels, deer, and cattle was enjoyable.

We stayed here two nights on our spring break trip to Escalante, Bryce and Zion. The drive from the property to Bryce was short and easy. Due to cold and snowy weather, we spent much more time in the cabin than we had planned. We stayed in the unit called Farriers Quarters. It was very comfortable for our family of four. We watched some movies and played games. The beds were nice and the unit was very clean. We had plenty of hot water and enjoyed the full kitchen for cooking. It turned out to be a nice place to be holed-up during the storm. Gordon, the owner, was very friendly on the phone and was responsive to messages.

We stayed in the Farriers Quarters cabin. Everything was as described and very clean. The owner has done a great job trying to make visitors stay as enjoyable as possible. Full kitchen, bath had everything that we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Large TV that we didn't really use, but very large compared to what we usually see. There is a Binder with the local things to do and see. Plus the owner has a blog that makes a lot of great recommendations for thing to do. The owner also went out of his way to communicate things to us personally when I had some questions. We had a great stay!

I took my mother to Bryce Canyon and Zion for her birthday and luckily, I found this spot to stay for a couple of nights. When we arrived, there were deer grazing on the lawn right next to the cabin. We stayed in Farrier’s Quarters, and it was very cozy and cute. The beds were comfortable and it was perfect for what we were looking for. It even smelled great like the wood that it is built out of. It was very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views.. Would definitely stay again!

Farrier's Quarters and the whole ranch area far exceeded our expectations and we were already expecting greatness. The common area and fire pit was the perfect place for morning coffee watching the sunrise, snd the room itself was upscale and spotless. Wildlife around was fun to see as well. We had a family of mule deer greet us one evening. Check in was so easy and Gordon was always quick to reply from booking to checkin with any questions we had. The town of Hatch was perfect for a friendly place to grab coffee on the go or to sit down for a great meal. Hatch's central location to Zion and Bryce Canyon was ideal. If i ever go back to that area, I would change dates if I had to just to make sure I got this exact same rental.
