Fantastic apartment overlooking the Rhine 163m², 5 BR., Large terrace

A fabulous property very close to the river/lake and a short walk to the railway station and old town. Great for a larger group.

Absolutely wonderful apartment for a large group. We were 6 adults and two children and the space was plentiful. Very clean, lots of outside space on the patio. Kitchen very well stocked with all utensils necessary to cook. Location is outstanding! Around the corner from a fantastic and big grocery store, with a cafe inside for morning coffee and pastries, if wanted. It's on the Rhein river and about an easy 10 minute walk to the old town, 15 minutes to ferries to explore all of the lake. Just know that you pay for every guest and parking permits, which add up quite a lot from the initial price. The host is very clear about charges, so they were not a surprise, just check for the total price. Highly recommend this property and we would go back without hesitation when visiting Lake Konstanz in the future.

Beautiful Apartment!

This was an exceptionally well maintained flat with everything that we needed. Excellent pre-stay information and the owner responded quickly and efficiently to all our questions. He was also able to arrange taxis from Zurich to Konstantz. Easy check in and the apartment was spacious and clean will all mod-cons. Parking space available and only 20min walk from old Konstantz. Highly recommended property.

We stayed as a family of five and had a fantastic six days. The apartment is light and airy, and kitchen and living room are extremely well-equipped and furnished. We appreciated the nice selection of wine and champagne glasses. Also several complete sets of plates etc. meant we could cook and set a nice dinner table. The balcony is generous and allows for lovely sitting, lounging and additional living space. Bathrooms are great and we really liked the separate toilet. The owner was fast, complete and fastidious in his replies. There was a slight confusion around the amount that needed to be paid resulting in an overpayment - this was solved very speedily and to my full satisfaction. We loved the location, directly at the Rhine and the Promenade. This means it's possible to swim directly in front of the house in the river - what a wonderful experience. There is lots of life and people watching and we enjoyed sitting on the river steps with a bottle of wine. Fantastic to be able to walk to an extremely good Edeka within one minute. Late opening times made it possible to just nip out for anything that was forgotten. Maybe it could be useful to have a slightly better explanation on how the travel passes for the bus etc. work - maybe some sort of folder containing routes and how to could be useful here. We would definitely stay again here.
