Fantastic apartment next to the beach

We have just returned from a fantastic long weekend in Barcelona and we stayed at this wonderful apartment. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and correspondence with the owner was very quick. The apartment was spotlessly clean and has a great feeling about it. The wifi was very speedy, we managed to stream live UK TV without any issues (via a VPN). It was great to have the supermarket just next door so we didn't have to carry our shopping very far.We made good use of our Hola Barcelona travel cards and used the Metro daily from the local station, which was a short walk away, about 5-10 minutes. There was a train every 5 minutes and Plaça de Catalunya was only a few stops away.There is a fantastic restaurant just around the corner from the apartment main door, de Vega, which was open for breakfasts and for evening meals. We had some very tasty tapas there.If you're looking for a great place to stay out of the main throb of the city but close enough to all of the main attractions, then check this apartment out. We hope to return very soon!

Jane was fantastic, communication great. Bed really comfy and everything as described, super clean. The shop directly underneath was open until the early hours and stocked a wide range, so handy for when you arrive! Had a great stay, thanks Jane x

Excellent location! Close to beach, easy walks to La Rambla and Sagrada Familia. Comfortable apartment. One caution is the bathroom is very small. Javier was great!

This was a nice location. We were able to walk to the beach. It is also located near shopping and the metro. Making it easy to get to other parts of Barcelona. We stayed 8 days and really enjoyed our time there. Jane and Javier were very helpful and accommodating.

We recently stayed at this property for 2 nights, my husband and two children. The apartment was ideally placed for us to reach all of the main tourist sights in Barcelona by foot. We arranged to be picked up at the airport by Javier who then showed us round the apartment, gave us some advise on good places to eat and information on transport to the Camp Nou. Most welcome were the cold beers and drinks in the fridge! Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We would not hesitate to return, ideally to see how the neighbourhood of Poblenou develops over the next couple of years!

Very nice and clean apartment just a short walk from the beach. Worth getting picked up by the hosts as the cost seems fair and there is no Uber in Barcelona. Javier picked us up and dropped us off and was punctual and friendly and showed us around the apartment when we got there and looked after our cases after checking out. Another good point is there is a small store next door. Restaurants and bars are plentiful and there are many bus stops close by plus a pick up point for the open top bus tour of the city which is well worth the money. Would recommend.

Fantastic location only bettered by the welcome and service provided by Jane & Javier. Lift to and from airport was a Godsend. We will be back!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this 3rd-floor walkup apartment. It’s clean, well-decorated & comfortable. It has a small kitchen/bathroom, but both are totally useable and functional. It had plenty of closet space and living space for a couple to share. Two big windows let in lots of light & look out onto a neighborhood street. We loved the location, as it was well-situated near the beach, a Metro stop, a few great bakeries, many restaurants & tapas places. Everything is walkable, which is really convenient. Communication with Jane was quite easy and she was very responsive. Jane’s husband, Javier, who picked us up from the airport, was very friendly & helpful with answering questions & welcoming us to his charming little neighborhood of Poblenou.

We stayed at this amazing apartment in September with our 22 month old son. The apartment was furnished to a high standard and well equipped. The owners are extremely accommodating providing us with a travel cot and were happy to help with anything we needed whilst we were staying there.

We stayed in the apartment with my wife for a few days in October. The apartment is located very favorably. The sea is just a few minutes walking distance. Near is also the city center easily reachable on foot. Nearby is the metro station. The apartment is clean, equipped with all necessary equipment and has a good layout of rooms. We had a nice time and we can with full confidence recommend the place.
