This is the perfect apartment getaway for a young couple or businessman looking to walk to restaurants, shopping or supermarket - Santa Luzia right 2 blocks away. Oscar Freire shopping is just one block down the street and easy to get to. This apartment has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (with a small maids bathroom ).
Well decorated and with large flat screen TV and open kitchen its a nice apartment for a long vacation or a quick getaway. Best apartment in the heart of S.P.Manhattan.
Our apartment is on the 1st floor of a gorgeous building on the corner of Alameda Lorena, and Haddock Lobo, in the heart of the shopping district of the Jardims. It is a beautiful neighborhood, near everything. There are guards on every street corner because of the shops – so I feel very safe. There is also a guard house for our building. There are trees all around, fabulous restaurants and shops- it is like New York only better. There is nothing like going out to dinner, not knowing where you are going, and finding something new and wonderful every night. Santa Luzia, a fabulous market, its 2 blocks away. The feira is on Sundays – in the block next to us.
We love this apartment - had alot of fun decorating it. The kitchen is fabulous -well stocked- plenty of plates, dishes, pots, etc. The living room is beautiful and there is a big office in a nook. King bed in the master, queen in the second bedroom, single plus exercise equipment in the third. Just bought all new sheets and pillows. Great wifi - & 4 tv's with cable. Basically there is a huge flatscreen in every room.
There is a maid's area as well with washer, dryer, area to press clothes, and another bathroom. The trash is collected right out the back door.
Hint: One of my favorite places is the Irish Bar on Oscar Freire – if there is a big soccer game – go there to watch it! Serafina is an Italian restaurant literally across the street. Yeah. It is awesome. Rua Augusta has 2 theaters we love – just 2 blocks away also. We went to a show there that blew my socks off – the Burlesque theater. Check what is playing when you come!
The condo was in a great location but we had several issues. When we checked in, the condo has waterbugs in the kitchen, hallway and shower the totally freaked my daughter and grandchild out. Not sure why, but after the first day, we didn’t see any more but every morning there appeared to be mouse droppings in my bathroom. Never saw one but we would clean up and find more the next day. We had trouble getting the internet to work and I was sent the password several times. I just gave up. By the 4th day, I ran out of data and asked the owner again to fix it! She FINALLY sent over someone and they replaced the router. There are no directions anywhere on what to do with the garbage. We put it outside our door and were reprimanded. It has to go in the stairwell. The third bathroom was not actually able to be used because there are wires that are cut and just hanging going to the shower. Not sure if they were live and I would be electrocuted. The third bedroom only has a mattress on the floor not a bed that my grandson slept on. I was concerned (see above about my bathroom issue). We knew there was no a/c, but it was so hot the first few days. You would think they would at least have some fans. No. So we bought 2 and left them there for future guests. Something that should have been provided. Other than that, everything else was just dandy.
