Stayed Dec 19, 2025My mother and I stayed in this apartment for two weeks during the Christmas period. The apartment is very quietly located and the building itself was calm, which we found very pleasant. There is sufficient storage space and the kitchen is well equipped, making it easy to live and cook there. The interior is not luxurious, but comfortable and easy to make your own. There is a good washing machine and enough detergent. However, in winter it is difficult to get laundry, including towels, properly dry. This means that for a longer stay you depend on extra towels and linen. The extra linen we requested was eventually delivered, but only after slow communication and waiting. There were also some maintenance issues, such as a shower screen that did not slide well, loose shelves, cracked cups, loose sockets and a vacuum cleaner that was initially unusable because the hose was missing. The vacuum cleaner was replaced during our stay, which we appreciated. Issues were generally solved once reported (roller shutters got stuck + non working spotlights). A small welcome gesture can make a big difference, such as a local treat, a bottle of wine, or something related to Barcelona. It would also help if the booking page clearly mentioned that tourist tax is payable on arrival and that a deposit is required. Overall, this is a quiet and functional apartment in a nice location. With more attention to maintenance, enough linen for winter, it could be a very good place.

Stayed Nov 10, 2025Pros: Good location, fair priceCons: No clothes dryer as advertised, smelled like stale smoke, we were robbed by someone who had a key, only 3 bath towels. We booked this apartment because of an advertised clothes dryer and there was none. Management told us to use the laundry matt nearby and refunded us 40 euros. DisappointingThe nonsmoking apartment smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Management replied that the cleaning crew would investigate. DisappointingSomeone with a key (cleaning crew?) entered the apartment and stole a bag of souvenirs that we purchased in southern Spain. Management replied, “that has never happened before”. We filed a police report. Only 3 small bath towels for 3 adults for 6 days. Management said fresh ones would cost 65 euros. Disappointing.DO NOT STAY AT THIS APARTMENT…. It’s managed by BizFlats in Barcelona, a third-party company that uses VRBO as a source to advertise.Disappointing.

Stayed Jul 7, 2022I was shocked at first that this property is not a typical Vrbo property, in that it is run by a third party company. I was not happy to learn about a large deposit due on arrival . Especially because we didn't learn about it until after we booked the property. Also, they demanded greeting us at the apartment, which requires a lot of coordination, especially with flight delays etc. and there is a surcharge if you arrive outside of regular hours. The property was very nice, though. Larger than the photos show. The amenities were great, with the exception of a very slow shower drain. The main bed is a decent size, but every move you make causes a squeak or creek. The location was fabulous, and on a walking side street, so no car traffic noise. The overall experience was good. Our check-in host was kind and helpful. Now knowing all the details, I'd still stay here again, but the shock of learning the details was a bit unsettling
