Faboulous and Cozy Apartment in Montclair, NJ

Good

Tiny place with updated kitchen. Old pillows and bedding, One room is a trundle bed that is pretty short and I’m 5’1”. If you are bothered by sounds and smells this is not your place. We hardly slept due to the resident in the basement. Watching tv at 3am and making calls at 5am sounding like she was sitting in our unit. More than that she started cooking very aromatic food at 5am as well. The sound and smell were overwhelming.

Very clean property. Great check in process and host communicated quickly throughout. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. We had people above us on the second floor but we were not bothered by any noise.

This VRBO is nice with everything you need for 2-3 people. Kitchen was updated, and had most of what we needed to cook our meals. Bed was comfortable enough, and plenty of towels.The main thing that was a problem was the noise coming from the apartment above. You can hear everything, and I mean everything. So if you're a light sleeper do NOT rent the 1st floor. There were a couple of issues which the owner addressed and was very conscientious about communicating with me to correct these issues. The neighborhood seems fine. The city makes you pay for parking on the street due to our rig being too large for their driveway.

This apartment was very clean and comfortable, and everyone we met nearby was friendly. I highly recommend it

The level of the house we were in was just the right size and had plenty of amenities. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and very convenient for visiting family in NJ as well as getting into NYC.

Small, quaint space, on a very quiet dead end block in Montclair, place was gorgeous and just what was needed! The location was so central to wherever we needed to eat, shop or travel to with our guests! Absolutely exceptional spot!

Great place and loved that the property manager was very attentive. If you are a light sleeper, the guests upstairs may bother you with the walking and moving of chairs. Overall a great experience.
