Extremely well maintained 4 star apartment with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle

Beautiful and clean apartment with all amenities in a lovely setting. Lovely terrace shared with the neighbors. Enjoyed wonderful bike rides on excellent cycle paths.

Petra and Wolfgang were incredibly helpful, they picked us up from Füssen train station, showed us around Schwangau so we knew where shops, restaurants, and other useful places were. The property was also fantastic. It is well provisioned with kitchen equipment, towels, etc. We stayed during two incredibly hot weeks and although it reached 33 degrees outside, the property remained cool and pleasant always. The location is very convenient for visiting all the attractions nearby. It was easy to walk to Forggensee in 10 minutes, Hohenschwangau in about 30 minutes, and Füssen in about 45 minutes. You can also get busses that stop regularly in Schwangau, which we used too. We will definitely come back and stay at this lovely spot which has everything we need for an enjoyable holiday.

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay near Fussen this apartment would be ideal. The owners are very obliging and will make you feel very comfortable from the moment you arrive. The location is great too, with only a few minutes walk to all the facilities in Schwangau, even though you feel as though you are in the country. Highly recommended by us.

We had a wonderful time at Petra's apartment. It surpassed our expectations. It was very clean, well equipped with wonderful views to the castle, Neuschwanstein. We had the use of the beautiful garden but were so busy! Petra and Wolfgang recommended where to hire bikes, shopping, bus routes (we had a free bus pass provided and used this a couple of times) and how everything worked in their apartment. I can fully recommend this apartment without hesitation. We popped out a couple of times at night, a cheap and cheerful Italian and a pub near a park, looking towards the mountains. I guess a couple of English DVD's would have been welcomed! Thanks for everything.

We have been in Schwangau for two weeks in July 2016. The apartment is clean, spacious, quiet, well designed and very well maintained. Everything was as advertised on the website. The WiFi connection worked and we could connect the laptop computer and use Skype. There is a fully functional kitchen (stove with four burners, oven, microwave, refrigerator) and everything worked as expected. The bedroom is very comfortable. The living room is well furnished and it has a wonderful view of the Neuschwanstein castle. The parking is near the apartment. The location is really wonderful. The owners made significant efforts to make our vacation really pleasant.

We spent 5 days in Schwangau and throughly enjoyed this apartment. Petra was kind enough to pick us up at the train station when we arrived and even let us do some quick grocery shopping on our way home. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable, having everything we could need during our stay. There is a bus stop close by, and it is also within walking distance of the castles and other nice parks in the area. We were very pleased with the apartment, and appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners.
