Stayed Jan 23, 2026We didn’t get to stay. The weather (forecasted 8-12 in of snow) prevented us from being able to come. However the host would not work with us even when a partial refund was requested. I understand cancellation policies but we can’t control the weather, and we weren’t going to risk driving 4 hours in that much snow. Host stopped responding to messages.

Stayed May 3, 2025I travelled with a large group for a conference at a nearby hotel. The hotel did not have enough rooms for our group. This apartment was a great option, literally across the street from the hotel.

Stayed Nov 14, 2024This suite was awesome. The room had a very cool vibe. The location was perfect for any event downtown. It was close to the mall as well as many restaurants. The building is a converted department store with a great history. Terry was awesome, he communicated within minutes and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this suite!

Stayed May 25, 2024I contacted the host to get final information day of stay and they reported back that they were cancelling our reservation. This was the day before the Indy 500 so there were no other places to stay in town. They really put us in a bad situation because they did not manage listing their property on multiple listing sites. Needless to say we did not go to the race and had to eat over $1000 in tickets that did not get used.

Stayed Apr 16, 2024The building itself is a historic treasure that's been re-developed and re-imagined into apartments. Taking some time to understand what the building has been, and is preserved as, gives insight and appreciation to the unique walls, windows, ceilings, and more! The host is a great person, and we were fortunate to meet them as well. Super attentive and quick to answer any questions, and was on site briefly to provide some quick help. I highly recommend this site. It's got fantastic value, is simplistic and easy, and anyone with an appreciation for history and preservation of that will definitively enjoy this space. Frankly, we didn't need a lot, just a place to sleep and move on each day. But we felt the accommodations are modern. Very comfortable pillows, and mattresses. There is an attached restaurant to the building called The Bistro, that absolutely cannot be missed. Those staying here will do themselves a favor by enjoying that asset as well (we went three times at varying times of the day). Thanks to the site host. Great experience. This will alwasy be our home in Indy!

Stayed Oct 7, 2023This experience was a bit below average. My wife and I met my cousin from Florida there to spend the weekend in Indy (all older adults). The location and property were great but there needs to be a bit more attention paid to the details. First, the vrbo listed showed an address that could not be found using Google maps so I had to call for exact directions. I then needed to send message to get code for lockbox to get key (no greeting email sent with details), Next, the key found in the lockbox did not work so I had to call again (very prompt response). Then once we finally settled in, we noticed that some essentials were missing/limited and had to send another message (again, prompt response). We found that there was the bare minimum provided (TP, soap, towels). For the price we paid, I would have expected to need very limited communication and a bit more amenities provided (such as additional supplies and maybe some coffee pods). I WILL say that they did communicate promptly and were available right away when called or messaged and they corrected the issue right away. Not sure how long this unit has been available so maybe over time these simple issues will get resolved. I would stay here again if we get back into this area. Not meaning to be negative but feel that these issues needed to be highlighted so that other guests do not have similar experience. Thanks!

Stayed Jun 30, 2023We had a wonderful time relaxing in the art deco environment and modern amenities of this historic building. It's close to everything downtown, making all of central Indy conveniently walkable. It makes for a great home base to the tourist or convention-goer.
