Exclusive apartment in Via dei Due Macelli, few steps away from the Spanish steps and the Trevi foun

We love the location of the apartment. It’s spacious and well insulated. The furnishings are amazing. We had a wonderful stay!

Lovely property located so close to all the main attractions but situated in a very quiet location. The property was perfect for our stay and the host/owner was most accommodating on our arrival.

All the rooms are large, beautiful, and comfortable. The location is great. It’s close to all attractions and restaurants. The host was very nice and helpful.

Do Not Stay Here and avoid Rental in Rome! We had a TERRIBLE experience at this property as it did not match the description on the website and it really soured our trip to Rome. We paid a premium to stay at what we thought would be a nice place in order to avoid any problems and hassles such as we experienced. We are out all day long and while we expect higher standards for the price, at a minimum we needed a comfortable bed, a place to wash our clothes and reliable electricity. Our stay was completely lacking in all regards and the rental agency, Rental In Rome, was rude and unhelpful. Since returning home, we have again emailed them and contacted Homeaway who also asked them to call us, but they still don't respond. Here are some of the issues: 1) Washer and Dryer was advertised and required in our search because we wanted to travel lighter. However, there was no dryer so we couldn't do the wash while we were there. 2) The beds were extremely uncomfortable and not fitting for such a luxury property. Our kids and my husband and I slept terribly for the five nights we were there and it affected us during the day when we were sightseeing. 3) We made it a priority to search for a place with good air-conditioning, but we were unable to use it in this unit. We were out all day long everyday and not using any electricity. However 7 different times over the last 4 nights of our stay (the first night it rained and was cool), the power went out in our apartment and I had to flip the circuit breaker. Upon check-in, we were told where the electrical box was which should have been a big clue of the problems to come. Ultimately, we were unable to use the AC because whenever we turned it on, the power would go out. This also limited our wi-fi availability. At first i could flip the circuit, but it kept going out and eventually wouldn't reset for a couple hours. 4) There were several other minor issues not worth going into that were also frustrating. Some of the maintenance problems were addressed on the second day (though they expected us to wait in apartment for half the day for maintenance man and internet company to install wi-fi), but when we complained to the rental agency again about the AC and power problems on our third day they didn't even have the decency to respond to us for the whole remainder of our trip. Almost any place would have been better in order to avoid all the problems even if superficially the apartment looked nice.
