Stayed Sep 3, 2024Our hosts were helpful & pleasant. Generous space. Everything you need for a short stay & a good base to drive from. Very comfortable (I thought the polished concrete floor may be cold but it wasn’t). We enjoyed the privacy it afforded while still allowing some sunlight in with the venetian blinds. Amenities were fine (standout the bath & shower pressure). Note the TV while large does not have HD channels or streaming – the free wifi signal though is good. A lamp near the couch or dimmer switches for the strong lights would help the vibe a bit. Sleeping: Bed was great & for fussy sleepers the room can be made quite dark & the neighbourhood is quiet. There was the odd creaky footfall/water in pipes from above & the fridge does cycle on/off during the night (we take earplugs anyway). Take a torch for the bathroom as there is a step down into it. Overall very nice & good value for money (would return).
