New Orleans, Louisiana
"THIS RENTAL IS FOR 31 DAYS OR LONGER"
This two bedroom, 2 bathroom Victorian apartment has been recently remodeled with upscale amenities and furniture. Both bathrooms have custom tiled walk-in showers. The full kitchen has everything you need to cook meals during your stay - but there are so many restaurants nearby. This unit has three flatscreen TV's, a capped off fireplace, wifi and a private gated courtyard with outdoor dining.
Linens are provided and there is a washer and dryer in the unit.
This apartment is located on the Streetcar line and is a short walk to several Uptown restaurants.
This unit is available for monthly rentals only with flexible move-in date. We will consider shorter rentals in between other bookings so send us a message with your preferred dates and we may be able to give you a better price than this site provides.
Great for corporate/executive stays, newcomers to the city and snowbirds looking for a great place to stay in the cooler months.
We booked this apartment for a month and left after two days because: - The property managers are useless. When we arrived, there was a flood in the kitchen with water dripping from light fixtures, and a crack in the ceiling that looked ready to collapse. Their response? Sorry, we can't help you. We're closing in 15 minutes. After numerous attempts to contact them and their emergency number, they never got back to us. The photos are not accurate. This place is rundown. The private gated courtyard is really a driveway and a dump covered in litter and construction materials. The apartment smells like dog urine. It's advertised as pet friendly which is code for smells terrible. We were shocked by it, and we're dog people. This is a great neighborhood with other places to stay at a similar cost. Find one, you'll be happier.
In an historic part of the city, this is an old house on tree-lined St. Charles. The classic trolley runs along out in front on the boulevard. There are many lively restaurants and bars nearby, and there were also several second lines (parades) down St. Charles while I was there. The location is great, and having off-street-parking is helpful. The apartment is spacious, but a bit wonky. It's all very New Orleans -- fun, funky, faded elegance.
Everything described was exactly as it was represented. No bad surprises. Great accommodations, Kelly was sweet and helpful, location is FAB!
The Apartment was beautiful and the location was perfect.
I would go back again. The place was exactly as pictured, the location was excellent, unfortunately the stay was cut short due to corona virus. We were only there about 10 of our planned 30 day visit.
We've been coming to NOLA for years. Craig's unit is the best VRBO we've ever stayed in, it's well maintained and is a great location. My wife and I give it 5 stars.
Loved this rental! My husband and I rented this 2x2 for three months, while we looked for a home. It was hard to leave; it's in a central location and in a great neighborhood. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything you would need to host friends/family. The on-site property management team is friendly and competent.
Very functional & comfortable apartment in great location. Street car runs daily so easy to get downtown, the French Quarter or to Tulane or Loyola .
My wife and I spent New Years and the month of January 2017 here. This apartment has raised ceilings in the living room and kitchen, a spacious master bedroom, a great guest bedroom, and a kitchen with all you need to prepare meals and entertain (if you really want to do that with so many great restaurants close by). You can have a casual drink or meal at the counter next to the kitchen or a more formal one at the dining room table. The apartment is beautifully decorated and appointed. there are TVs in every room. It's quiet. You have your own private entrance with a gated courtyard which is great for pets. There is a washer and dryer and parking for two cars. We had guests and they said that the guest bedroom was quiet despite facing St, Charles Avenue. Craig and Denny are wonderful to deal with and Denny immediately addressed the few small issues that occurred. There is a great beignet shop steps from your door. Superior Seafood, an excellent restaurant, is right across the street and New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood for a casual meal or a drink is a half block away. My wife walked to Magazine Street where all the best shops and a Whole Foods market are located. The Trolley will take you to the French Quarter, Carrolton or most any place else. There is even a dog park fairly close by. I walked my dog, Boomer, several times a day and often at night and the neighborhood is safe and very friendly. We are coming back next year and we highly recommend it. (Except for January 2018). This review sounds too good to be true, but we tried to think of negatives to include and really couldn't think of any worth mentioning. The worst thing was a leak in the roof which Denny had repaired very quickly.
We came to New Orleans with another couple and this place was exactly what we were looking for. 12 block from the trolley stop and a nice little coffee shop. The garden district was wonderful and we had an easy walk to Magazine Street. The trolley dropped us at Bourbon Street and got us safely back. The apartment is clean and well furnished. Craig's staff is friendly and accommodating. We had a great time and will look to rent here again when we return!
