This was a beautiful place, and perfect accommodation for our family, 2 adults and 1 toddler. The unit was spacious, extremely clean, well kept, updated, and comfortable. The deck and the sunroom were a bonus for relaxation. I enjoyed reading through the magazines and books that were available. There were toys for my toddler to play with also. We were all very comfortable in the space. The only reason for 4 stars was that the unit above us was loud. Someone (or maybe a pet or a child) was running a lot and stomping and it was hard to sleep through the disturbance of continuous, loud, heavy, fast footsteps.

Very nice and accommodating place. Fully stocked kitchen with two clean bedrooms. The surrounding area was beautiful. There was a small reading nook that added to the comfort of the place. Hosts were easy to contact via phone call.

Be forewarned: this beautiful looking space is attractive yet the downsides are greater than meets the eye…Many things about staying here were perfect; location, cleanliness, layout. But having people above is annoying and frustrating. Constant footsteps clomping back and forth above you, children’ screeching voices and even adult conversations. In addition, if the upstairs neighbors have left their front porch light on prepare to have your bedroom illuminated despite curtains. Also particularly upsetting, the outdoor stairway down to the apartment was treacherous with thick ice. There is a railing to hold on to but only for the top third. Traversing this was quite dangerous and unnerving, especially for 3 older adults. My spouse remarked it is “a lawsuit waiting to happen.” I called to report about both issues. Nothing helped the noise (it was constant) and only when we shoveled the steps ourselves did we feel it was safe.Other than that it would have been a 5 star stay…

The place was fine, my first impression of the view was beautiful, good location. There's a homeless camp just downhill from the deck that you can see from the deck and a few of the rooms indoors. There are no blinds, which would help with privacy. I understand that there's not much the property owners can do about this and we had no problems with homeless folks during our stay, but the property manager I contacted to just let them know was very dismissive. They were well aware of the camp and told me that the homeless folks couldn't see into the home, even though I could see the tents/camp from indoors. So their communication could use improvement and is what would make me reluctant to recommend this rental. It's highly unlikely there will be any interactions with the homeless folks just trying to find a spot to sleep, but if it makes you uncomfortable maybe try a different rental.

Loved location, feeling of privacy in a wooded spot, yet walking distance to museum, restaurants, market, and nice neighborhood for walking around. Property itself very comfortable, spacious, inviting. Everything in good working order! Good line of communication with host.

The property was very spacious and clean. The wooded view provided privacy and a relaxing treehouse feel. The parking for the guests were clearly marked to the side of the house’s driveway. The lower unit had a private site entrance with steps down to the door and deck.I dropped jewelry when packing and they found it! It will be mailed as we have already flew home. Thank you for the stay!

In town for a conference so we added an extra day on the front end, quick trip! Great launching point to explore Anchorage and beyond. A perfect getaway and excellent alternative to a hotel. Even happened upon a moose just down the street eating a neighbor's bushes! Would love to return.

The unit was very clean and extremely relaxing with the park/creek located directly behind it. It offers walking distance to down town and very accessible by Lyft and taxi for longer journeys. The big bathtub was awesome and each of the beds were comfortable and relaxing. We thought that there would be a twin bed in with the king bed based on the ad but that was not the case. It didn’t affect us much but there was only a king and a queen with optional air mattress. Overall we would stay here again!

Good two bedroom rental in a location close to Anchorage downtown. Is a lower basement unit so if the upstairs is rented you do tend to hear a bit of noise. Very clean, comfortable, and plenty of space for 4 people. The deck was amazing!

Great location - close to downtown, easy access to highways to go on northern and southern excursions. The unit itself is spacious, has a full, clean kitchen, nice bathrooms, love the reading nook(!), nice deck overlooking the valley trees One thing to consider is that it is a downstairs unit. You need to walk down stairs with your suitcases to access the apartment. You will hear the unit above. We heard walking, TV, and music Management - I do want to compliment the management. We did have an issue and management handled it quickly and professionally. (What the issue was isn’t important because it was handled well.)

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this space, every room was cozy and relaxing. The hosts were responsive and were able to help us out by setting up the extra air mattress before our late arrival. I really appreciated all the help they provided during our stay.
