The city's long history is reflected in its architecture and streets. The La Pigna neighborhood is a labyrinth of caruggi (alleyways) and excellent family-run restaurants. Corso degli Inglesi is a nod to the 19th century, home to the Municipal Casino and the Russian Orthodox Church. The city's villas with their manicured gardens are also worth a visit.

For those who enjoy cycling with sea views, the Ponente Ligure cycle path (8 minutes) offers breathtaking scenery. Among maritime pines and beaches, the route winds along the coast for 24 km. It can be explored on foot, by bicycle, on roller skates, or on skateboards. It's suitable for families with children, with food courts and bike rentals. The nearest beach is just 8 minutes away.
